This showed a lot of promise at first and I was more than excited to hop on the opportunity to purchase such a well designed phone holder. Unfortunately, while the idea of the product is flawless, the actual execution feels lacking. The magnet that doubles as a ball bearing works flawlessly. It is incredibly strong and durable. The base on the other hand feels plasticky and flimsy. I would be fine with that however assuming it worked properly. That is not the case though. The sheet of metal that you attach to your phone to mount the phone to the base is incredibly thin and I cannot for the life of me figure out why they made it neon blue. It completely ruins the case! Putting it inside of the case as some of the comments here suggested does not work either as this is very much just a thin sheet of metal. In no way is this sheet good enough for a magnet even as strong as the ball bearing to attach to. While the phone didn't come straight off it, as soon as I put my glass down on my desk, it dropped (and I have a cracked screen so that gave me a heart attack). I have a pretty light phone too. Having it on the case instead of inside just meant that it was extremely hard to remove said phone from the stand. All in all, I am disappointed by this product.

My main purpose for ordering this was to stand my phone up landscape on my desk at work. Unfortunately, the magnet isn't as strong as I was hoping. I have a love handle on my phone case so I have to put the metal plate towards the top of my phone. When I attach it to the stand, my phone slides to a portrait position. If the magnet was strong enough it would hold it in place.I'd maybe recommend it for someone who doesn't have a lovehandle/pop socket, but the magnet itself is not strong enough. :\ A little disappointed in this product.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and had to return it the next day because one of the three pieces was missing. The box wasn’t sealed and it had a piece missing. Does no one check before sending it? It was also the last one (imagine that) so I couldn’t get another to replace it.

I really like this phone holder, i just wish that the bottom was a suction type. It will hold the phone of course but when i go to grab the phone the entire piece some with it and then i have to separate it. Not a big deal but gets tiresome if you pick up your phone alot.

I used t for Facebook Live, what I needed it for, it worked amazingly well. I did choose to place the light weight metal plate for the magnet on an old phone case so I wouldn’t have to attach it to my phone. So I will continue to use that case when I use the stand as a combo.It is sturdy, easily adjusts and easy to use. Very pleased with it.

Not as sturdy as the one Ibwould buy after purchasing this one but it gets the job done. Recommend you use enough magnets on the back of your device to ensure it holds.

GREAT BUY! This is one of my favorite gadgets because it's a great holder for my smartphone and has a strong magnet. I'll give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the metal plaques that comes with it are too small and don't trigger a strong magnet binding, but I had another plaque because I also have a magnetic holder formy caro so it works great.

I am loving my new tool! It’s so convenient to use, I can take it everywhere I go and I don’t have to worry about slipping my phone out of my hands. It’s great for FaceTime as well. The magnet is so strong that the phone is on there very good. Also the ball of the stand can turn different directions so my phone can actually be positioned any directions that I want. Definitely a great buy
