Star Cat: Book 1 (The Phoenix Presents)

This was bought for a 7 year old who loves The Phoenix comics. It's very funny and he's read it several times, as have his older brother and mum. The other Phoenix comic books are great too - especially Looshkin and Bunny vs Monkey. Really clever humour and great to get young boys reading.

Excellent book - big phoenix fans (6-8) so this went down very well

We bought this book after my 6 year old son enjoyed 'Gary's Garden' from the same series. He read it every day till it was finished and then my 10 year old son read it. Now we have bought several more in the series and are considering getting a subscription to the comic! Can't praise it enough! Kids reading= mum smiling!

Great book, funny, original and great for junior school age kids.

My son and I were howling with laughter reading the comic. Just wish there was another! This is a definite new bedtime favourite of his.

Hilarious with lots of different episodes included featuring the utterly stupid crew of the star cat. For kids who are all ages. You will not stop laughing, even reading it the second time. Long live the Phoenix!
