Flavor:Red IPA  |  Size:6 Pack As majestic as its redwood giant namesake, this red IPA has a refreshing citrus canopy with notes of peach and mango, that is well-balanced by a toasty caramelly malty backbone and earthy roots. Triple hopped, the six malt blend gives this brew a complex character that will make you wonder: Is this really non-alcoholic? Yes, it sure is. Pairings: It pairs well with fish tacos, grilled burgers, and spicy eats. It goes especially well with adventure or anytime you need a refreshing adult beverage without strings attached.

Not your average NA beer
I no longer drink alcohol for medical reasons and really miss my favorite craft beers. I’ve tried all the mass produced NA beers and most are terrible with a few exceptions. I found this beer on Amazon and decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. This is vastly different from every NA beer I’ve had. It truly tastes like a hoppy craft beer and reminds me of my old favorite pale ale. I highly recommend this to those looking for a great NA beer!

If you love Hops...
Up until recently, I spent much of my time exploring craft IPA’s from countless breweries from around the country. As part of reigning in my consumption of beer, I have decided to take a break for a while, and switch to Non-Alcoholic versions. I have quickly realized that the world of non-alcoholic beer is quite small. However, Chandelier is a great starting point. Below is my review of ChandelierColor: Dark red pour with a large, offwhite headAroma: Notes of caramel and lightly toasted maltsFlavor: Pine, faint toasted malts, American yeast and subtle floral notes.Mouth Feel: Because there are so few ingredients, the mouth feel is somewhat shallow with medium carbonation.Overall, Chandelier Red IPA is complex and delicious.

Forget Everything You Know About NA
I haven’t been able to have much alcohol for nearly 20 years due to health issues and I was very much into craft brews and single malt scotch. NA beer like O’Doul’s was just nasty to me, so I ended up limited to having maybe one or two good beers a year. In the past month I discovered these craft brewed NA beers from the likes of Surreal and Bravus. This Chandelier Red IPA from Surreal is the best I have had next to the Oatmeal Stout from Bravus Brewery. Either of these two NA beers can seriously fool you into thinking you’re having the real deal. Since this is a review for Surreal, I’ll talk about that. The Surreal Chandelier Red IPA is crisp, dry, hoppy, very fresh and refreshing. I was surprised since I had another similar NA style that dissapointed me. Now I am looking forward to trying their porter. If you can’t have alcohol for whatever reason and live craft brew like I do, I definitely recommend this as a strong, satisfying alternative.

This is different...in a really good way!
I like beer and at the moment I need to stay away from alcohol. I was so surprised how great this was. A friend of mine came over and started to drink it and he is a big beer connoisseur, and had no idea it was alcohol free until he was on his second one. He thought it was amazing. So basically whether you like non-alcoholic beer or regular beer, this is a great choice. Try it once and you will see the difference between other non-alcoholic or other alcoholic beers. You will see how great it tastes. Give it a shot, it's that good.

Best NA beer
ive been sober for 5 years and I’ve missed the taste of a good ipa. This definitely delivered the taste that I was looking for without the alcohol.

Really good stuff. Not an "IPA" really, but tasty. And low-calorie!
Like others, I don't really think it should be called an IPA. It lacks any of the hoppy, grapefruity flavor of even a moderate IPA. But it's quite tasty, and half the calories of the only other decent non-alcoholic craft beers I've found (by Hellraiser). 33 calories is half the calories of a single oreo cookie, after all. My fave beer, Bell's Two Hearted, is 212 calories. That's more than a six-pack of Chandelier. Or, look at it this way -- Bud Light is 110 calories. You can have three Chandeliers for the same calories as ONE Bud Light. And let's be honest -- the difference in alcohol content between a n/a beer and Bud Light isn't that much to begin with haha.(Incidentally, if you DO want it to taste a bit more hoppy, a dash of grapefruit bitters seems to do the trick.)

Tastes like the real thing!
I gave this a try while recently training for a half marathon. Non-alcoholic beers have a reputation for being pretty bad, so my expectations were low. I was delighted to find that Chandelier Red IPA actually tastes like an IPA. I mean, it is legitimately good beer whether it has alcohol or not. My race is over, but I still find myself reaching for these. Their 17 Mile Porter is also solid. Great product!!

The BEST N/A craft brew tasted so far!
I have been drinking non-alcoholic (N/A) beers for years, along with a personal taste for the stronger ales and Belgian brands. I have again returned to drinking N/A brews regularly in an attempt to improve my health overall, and have been intrigued by the variety of newer brands of craft N/A beers. Thus far, I have tried four different types, but - by FAR - the Surreal Brewing Co. Red IPA is the absolute, hands-down BEST in my taste buds' discerning opinion! At first taste, the hoppiness of the IPA style comes through immediately, with no sour aftertaste. From now on, Surreal Red IPA will be on my Amazon ordering list - though I wish I could save some $$ and also buy locally...
