Very nice wooden chess pieces, perfect for my hand painted game table project. There were some knots and burls, but I thought the irregularities added to the charm. Great value for the money.

Perfect size for my project. And good feel to them nit to heavy but not cheap feel either. So happy this is making a great gift for my dad

I chose this set and paid more that the less quality sets they have a primitive shaped horse. Received a cheap primitive set, not the one it's subscribed. Don't believe the picture it's misleading. You can get this cheap set for way less.

My eleven year old grandson somehow lost/misplaced one of the pieces to his Chess set. We looked everywhere before it occurred to me to order new pieces. Great quality pieces, actually even better than the original set.

Came as described, only down fall is that it doesn't have a pouch or box to contain the pieces, just the clear Amazon bag it shipped in.

you basically get what you pay for. There isn't anything good or bad about the pieces. They are nice and big but not too large, and are as expected. The only think I have to say is that some of the pieces are wobbly due to the felt. Yes they have felt on the bottom, but it's a small little slab of it, so it really doesn't so any good. it's there though. If you're not looking for "details" then this set does the job. it's simple and plain, just what I needed anyways. Also, the picture is not how the pieces actually look. I can't describe how they look they just don't match the picture, which also isn't such a big deal to me or anyone who may need a basic set to fill in an empty board like I had. Overall, get it, if details are not your go to.

Returning as 2 pawns were missing - it is obvious the plastic bag the pawns were in was ripped open? Pawns either fell out or someone ordered it and returned without the pawns they needed. Either way super annoying for us!

The pieces seemed a little light in weight but overall good quality
