A bit wordy
The book is fine and the seller got me the book as specified. The author is just so wordy it's ridiculous. They did include tons of examples which is great.

Best course design program
A very detailed approach to course design. Not an easy read, but well worth the time.

Excellent
This book is well written, and the perspective from both business and educational environments is helpful in web site development using a CMS like Weebly. Too often people believe that the focus of a business web site should be on what "they" like, rather than considering the user. The book contains practice cases, and a quiz to test comprehension. I would have appreciated detail of UI and UX, but anyone reading this book would be able to apply those principles effectively. The Bibliography is current and extensive; an added bonus for researchers.

Badly written, poorly designed
I couldn't believe how awful this book was. ADDIE is a pretty simple concept, so I'm not sure why it's written so badly. The figures are nonsense, the grammar is terrible, and the charts don't make any sense. In Chapter 1, for example, he has a chart explaining the poor performance of hypothetical elevator repair employees. The primary causes do not align with the desired performances (the whole point of the chart). Why don't employees know where the service entry panels are? Because they're "rarely informed about part recalls" and not sure whose "responsible for managing procedural updates." In addition, the book includes violently homophobic language with no explanation or discussion. I have to read this book for a class, so I have no choice, but if you do have a choice, find a better book!
