GOUPRC 2204 2400KV Brushless Outrunner Motor with Transmission & 30A Brushless Esc for SCX24 RC Crawler Axial 1/24 RC Car Truck

Love this ESC and brushless motor combo. I installed it in a cheap Racent RCS24 along with a scx24 2 in 1 ESC. made this rig so smooth and fun to run and I still have no more into this than a new scx24 would cost. Not only will it barely crawl its very snappy too. Very quiet but took a little modification to get it to fit.

Ran twice, thus far works very good. Super easy to set up. Smooth slow speed and decent top speed.

When I first received and tested this Motor and ESC I was not impressed. The motor was "cogging" and had excessive vibration at speed. I read that the ESC was possibly AM32 based. I contacted the Seller to verify and had immediate response. They suggested using an USB AM32 interface, and if I still had problems they were willing to help or replace the system.Running the configurator from the AM32 website, I found most of the initial settings were incorrect , most importantly , the Poles being shown as 4, and KV as 1600. I changed those to 14 (poles) , and 2340 (KV). This made a huge difference, yet still not perfect. Startup Power, Sine Startup range , and Sine Mode Power were at generic settings, and I experimented with them. I asked the Seller if their engineers had any recommendations for settings and they sent me a screenshot ( see attached ) The settings were very close to where I was at and after changing them I am now very happy with this system .The Pros: Great customer service and communication. It is AM32 based and can be programmed. The transmission is great and fits perfectly. The gear mesh was set correctly ( Brass Pinion gear ). The System is very quiet. The Motor can turn incredibly slow and has great torque. Motor and ESC are running cool ( I am using a 2S Lipo ). It comes in a nice case and has a assortment of adapter cables.The Cons: It wasn't configured correctly as purchased. If it was this would be a 5 star rating.I would buy this again.

The media could not be loaded. Very good and slow motor for the price! I am already obsessed with how good it works and don’t even mention how easy it was to install. looks great inside the car and will buy again.

It would stutter at any obstacle. After a week of troubleshooting I decided to hook it up to am32 programming and it actually is am32 ESC I couldn't believe!!After going into the software I saw that the motor poles were completely wrong and also the kv. This is literally programmed from the manufacturer and it's a non-programmable controller apparently but it isn't it is programmable and I was able to get it to crawl properly by setting 14 motor poles and bringing it to 2300 KV the closest I could. Now it doesn't stutter and climbs like a beast

The media could not be loaded. I saw someone else purchase this item and had to try it myself since it was so affordable. The motor and esc work great! This thing is super quiet and capable of very slow crawl. Transmission seems fine. This motor comes in anawesome little zipper case along with the side rails which screw right into where the skids mount sort of like side steps. I would definitely buy another!! Thank you!!

Worked great for about 10 minutes and the esc started smoking and almost cost me my rig.. not very happy with it at all

It’s a smooth running system. It consumes a lot of power and cut down run times on a lot of battery packs almost by half. overall, I wasn’t happy with its performance
