Cheap looking
The pink was more purple than pink. The “cherry blossoms” were red. The whole thing looked like is was made from vinyl & looked very cheap. I had bought it for a gift. I returned it because there was no way I would give that to anyone I cared about. Very tacky. Very disappointing.

Don't buy it.. seriously its annoying
I wanted to like this. Handle broke right away. And every time i open it, it pops up reversed and i have to fix it... every damn time. Dont waste your money.. its flimsy and cheap for a reason.

they don't look like the picture!
I bought 2 and the 2nd time i used one it broke. Flimsy, cheaply, very cheaply made. Closing them, so far, I've found virtually impossible. Easy to open, impossible to close so they fall into place. I wouldn't buy these again ever. I think i'll go to the store and see what the quality is before buying my next one, which will be soon I presume, because these won't hold up, for sure.

Rain catcher instead of umbrella!
I bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter for Christmas. When it arrived, I opened it to check it out. It's not automatic. I pushed it up and pushed the little button under the ribs to open it out. It didn't open out in the usual umbrella shape. The bottom section of each rib remained pointing upwards. The silly thing will catch water! You can manually pull each rib down, but she'd never get it up or down without getting drenched!

Don’t bother. Difficult to use and smells terrible.
I was going to give this just as a momento but I decided not only was it difficult to use, is was. Not made well and it emitted a really unpleasant smell. I kept it and put in my trunk. It is cute and the color is good but it is difficult to press the mechanisms to make it open and even harder to make it close. It was not what I expected, but just remember, you get what you pay for. Let’s say of course made in China, but it must have been made on Monday instead of a Wednesday. I hope by the time I have to use it, the smell subsided.

Cute
Okay, so this is a cheesy, girly umbrella, yes. But it is also cute and giftable (to someone into that kind of thing, or a child) and sweet to use for people who want a little panache on a rainy day! Add some wellies and you're good to go!

Poorly made
It’s so cute but unfortunately it really is cheaply made. When I open it, it doesn’t open properly. It will probably break as soon as any wind hits it. It would probably make a better sun umbrella.

Opens with the dome facing up instead of down
The umbrella opens with the dome facing up instead of down unless you shake it before it clicks open. Also, my 9 years old daughter was not strong enough to click it open. Another bad design is the wrap-around strap - it's not long enough so you need to pull it so strong that it almost rips off. Not something that a kid can do, or anyone else should need to do.
