Works well and easy to use
I used this to patch my buffalo top that got snagged. It was easy to use and sticks down well.

Excellent
No Instructions come with it but I found them on the same page where you order the tape on Amazon. Just used it for x2 splits above the pockets on my Barbour coat (unwaxed!) ...they have worked perfectly and the coat looks great....tape virtually same colour...so v happy and no need to get a new coat.

Easy to apply and effective when applied to bivvy bag
Worked well to seal some seams on the inside of an army issue Goretex bivvy bag. As there is a fabric surface for it to grab on to, application was easy and successful first time. It may perform differently if applied to a slicker non-fabric lining. It's a little expensive but I think that's unavoidable with this kind of product.

Works very well to repair a ski jacket lining
The lining went on my membrane ski jacket. This tape worked a treat a replacing it and survived a week's skiing without issue.I also repaired a little of the outside of the jacket where there was wear on my left shoulder were I carry my skis.I used a piece of wood on the ironing board to help me localise where the heat went. I used a medium heat (**) and learnt that it needs about 3 - 5 seconds to melt sufficiently to stick before it gets too loose.I even replaced a hanging loop that had fallen off years previously!

Good results, with enough heat & pressure
Successfully re-taped the peeling seams in my 20yr old Goretex jacket. Very pleased with the results, but it took more time and work than I expected. After a while you get a feel for the melt behaviour of the adhesive, but the method I developed might not be good in all circumstances.I used a dry iron set at "cotton", pressing down hard for a firm join. I used a piece of clean 50x75mm timber under the jacket. Through trial & error I found 10 seconds of pressure was about right. Don't slide the iron, it will drag the tape. Just press down hard, hold for count of ten and lift again. Wait a full minute for the adhesive to cool before repositioning the garment. Slow & steady along each seam, took about 2 hours but it's very solid now.

No instructions
Product arrived in a clear plastic bag with no instructions. Im supposed to repair a £800 jacket with no instructions. Poor.

Not easy to apply heat for narrow tape.
Strong adhesive backed tape might be better and safer to apply. Narrow heat strips not easy to apply and using small domestic travel iron risks damage to goretext jacket. Some attempts to fix now coming off.

Fantastic!
I was told that I couldn't mend my waterproof coat. Worked like a dream only using an iron. Coat as good as new. Great product.
