It's a basic bag. Not what I would call well-padded. I don't think the PU leather straps are going to hold up well with the metal buckles. It's pretty roomy though; fit my 15.9 laptop, and a 2 inch binder with room to spare. Pockets are handy. Buckles are really inconvenient when you're in a hurry though. I'm okay with it, but I don't love it. I kinda wish that I had kept looking.

Great bag,,,, down side is the bag picks up color from our jean and it’s pretty bad. I wish I asked that before buying. I now have a stained bag and not very happy about it.
