I got this for my husband and he smells great when he wears it. It has a floral scent but it is definitely masculine. My husband would not wear it if it smelled too feminine. This lasts awhile on the skin, but you will need to reapply it during the day if you want it to last all day.

I got this for my husband. He likes it smell good and I like for him to smell good too. My husband usually picks the cologne that he likes but sometimes I get him the ones I like. So I decided to get him this one to try out. One of the reasons that I chose this essential oil cologne is because I know that any perfume or cologne that is made with oil; the smell lasts all day long because I have use oil perfume before. So it smells great. He likes the smell of it and how long it lasts. The smell is masculine but kind of spicy and sweet; not a woman’s sweet but more like an enticing scent. I love how it smells on him. It is great for everyday use as well as special occasions.My husband says it doesn’t irritate his skin. I think I made a great choice by getting it and he does too. He says he will be buying it again and not it is one of his new favorite oil cologne. I think it is a great value and I recommend it to any man that loves to smell good and want the smell to last a long time.

smells like Aventis but more pineapple, BUT has no staying power, its unfortunate. nothing more to say

This was a pleasant surprise and a nice change of pace for Jean Rish. The scent is fresh, with a citrus-forward opening that mellows into a subtle, woody base. It has a versatile, clean profile that makes it ideal for daily wear to the office, doing chores, or hanging out at home. It's a nice, easygoing, casual fragrance that is mass-appealing and versatile. Compared to others from Jean Rish, performance is much better at around 6 hours. It projects nicely, and has some sophistication, but won't take over a room. Good for being discovered, not announced.The scent itself reminds me a bit of Nautica Voyage or Perry Ellis 360 Red. While it may not be as refined as those offerings, for what it is, it’s a solid pick that keeps up with a lot of its peers in the same category. Not a bad option for anyone on a budget who wants a versatile fragrance for every day use.

The overall opening to this Jean Rish Essential was really harsh. Immediately I got hit with a synthetic pineapple smell, not incredibly sweet but just nothing good. Once the fragrance dried down in about 10-15 minutes, I actually liked it. The pineapple fades and the earthier notes really come through. However, the projection was really poor and I had to hold my arm up to my nose to smell it. After about an hour and a half, the fragrance had pretty much disappeared. For an EDP, I am really disappointed in the profile and performance.

I'm not a perfume expert, but I do love perfumes. I don't know perfumes by name or scent/tone, so I'm reviewing this as a naive perfume lover. This perfume is within my price range and it's worth it. The scent is so good that I got it for my husband but I use it too. I love manly perfumes, but this one lasts so long, no other women's perfume does. I also love that it won't break my bank! The bottle looks very chic, which makes it great for gifting.

This has a light and pleasant scent. You really only need one spritz. I don't necessarily notice it lingering hours later but I have received compliments.I thought it was on the more natural side but after I received it and looked again I noticed a few colors that are artificial that I am sensitive to (not sure why artificial colors would be necessary) and some ingredients that I can't pronounce.Hoping that using this will not harm my health.I do not recall reading about all those ingredients when I ordered.This does not seem to stir up my allergies so perhaps it's miniscule.I like it overall, though at this point I would give it 4 out of 5 stars based on the artificial colors and chemical ingredients aspect.

This is another fresh, masculine scent that is best suited for warmer weather. It smells nice enough. It just doesn't last long enough, especially for it to be an EDP. I sprayed it heavy on skin and clothes and got a max of 2.5 hours. I asked 2 people for their opinion just to be sure I wasn't going nose blind and they practically had to put their noses on me to smell anything.
