I have a ceiling fan with a broken switch so I would have to screw in a harsh CFL bulb in each time. I figured if I got a smart bulb I could control it on my iPad or maybe my echo and not have to screw/unscrew. I found lots that had colors and thought that would be nice. I zero’d on this one. My reservations were what quality you could get for under $20 and that there were only 2 reviews.It came today. Setup took me less than 10 minutes and I’ve been laughing because it’s pretty cool. You can tell Alexa to dim or change to whatever color or you can choose any variation of colors on your tablet. Also can change the brightness. Very bright so no problems there. Then there are themes, so right now it’s changing between colors but in a calming way. I never have parties in my room, but if I did, there’s a theme for that too. Very happy and it’s even better than I hoped. One little thing, the bulb shape is actually for recessed cans but that’s okay for me.

Great customer service and technical support. I purchased a set of four for my kitchen. Had to set up one by one. They didn't get to the full "warm" color I wanted even reaching the maximum setting on the app. The color options were great but I do not need that for my kitchen. Also, my dimmer was buzzing all the time when I had them at the brightest setting. Did not keep.

Really wanted these to be a viable alternative to the overpriced Philips bulbs. The colors are not very rich or saturated, stay towards to cold end of the spectrum. The app and setup is not smooth, and it always seems to lose track of my bulbs. Frequently when I turn one on it will start flashing like it’s in pairing mode. They seem well-made, arrived in good condition but the performance just isn’t up to par.

I installed and set up these lights and while they would initially connect to the app. the connection cuts out at random every couple seconds. Makes them impossible to control with any sort of automation (Alexa finds most of them not responding when I try to make changes through my Echo), and you have to keep refreshing the app and control each light 1 by 1 when they decide theyre going to be connected. Can't find customer support anywhere. Will be returning these and spending more money on a legit product. These are the cheapest multicolor BR30 smart bulbs I could find, but they are NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Bulbs only lasted little over 2 years! In the future I'll definitely go with a more reputable brand.
