Shipping was fast, and there was a note inside the box which was a nice touch. I actually received two pillows instead of the one I ordered, but at the time, I didn't have time to contact the seller. They seemed like ordinary pillows, nothing special and not much fill. I actually think they sent the wrong pillows, cheaper ones by mistake. If this is the correct pillow, and they sent two instead of one, it is definitely not worth the price. Since I didn't have time to fool with a return, I kept them and slept on one of them to see if I would like it. I have a hard time finding a pillow I like, but I was hopeful. I suffer from headaches and neck problems, and this pillow does nothing to help, but it doesn't make them any worse. It goes flat in the middle of the night, which wakes me up, causing me to have to fluff it up and reshuffle the filling to support my neck. So, my pillow search continues...

Pillows are always a problem. I've bought at least 5 different pillows over the last few years. This one is the best!!! I am a side sleeper and the firmness is perfect. Not too high when I choose to sleep on my tummy but fine when I read in bed lying supine. These are the answer! I have already bought a total of five and have told my children about them. A great pillow and a great price.

the quality of the pillow is good, but for me "Down Alternative" would mean "feels like a down pillow without the price tag or possible allergies" , this pillow did not feel like a down pillow. Don't get me wrong..it was comfortable (which is why I gave it four stars) but I have a down pillow and love it and would like to have another but my budget does not allow for a good one at this time. I saw the ratings on this were good so took a chance. I'm not disappointed in the quality of the product itself , I was just expecting it to feel like down. The fill in this is much better then the ones you buy in the store...softer and holds up better...didn't flatten after a few uses (yet). So we'll see how it goes, but I do intend to finally get myself another down pillow at some point.

I've read the reviews, researched my needs, and ended up buying this pillow back in April. When I received it in the mail, it was flat but I assumed it was because of the packaging. I tried to fluff it up and ended up waiting for it to take its shape in the first week. After the first week, I realized it wasn't going to get any firmer or fluffier and in fact actually started to get even flatter after the first week. It's interesting to read others reviewing this product as in need of constant fluffing or stating that it's too firm. I think it's possible that there are other better pillow options based on other reviews I've read (like the 50/50 fill) but with the "Standard" pillow I got, my experience was disappointing and I would not recommend this product to those who dislike flat pillows.

it's quite difficult to match your own preferences for sleep products with someone else's preferences, but I did a fair amount of research recently for pillows and sheets. I generally go to these sites for their reviews: Sleep Like The Dead [...] and Sweet Home [...]. These pillows generally got very good reviews and some mixed reviews. I usually buy down-filled pillows but they get too compacted after time and lose their ability to maintain their "loft". I also sleep on my side. These pillows were reviewed to be as a good replacement for down-filled pillows and were good for side-sleepers, too. I bought two pillows and they were delivered very quickly. I was quite excited to use them so I popped them into pillowcases and attempted to take a nap. The reviews said that these pillows seem very lofty, but they are supposed to "mash down" like down-filled pillows do. That's exactly what I wanted. However, when I laid my head on this pillow, I felt as if my head had landed on one of those inflatable bouncy castles that you rent for a kid's birthday party! Now maybe I have a very light head but this pillow is far too springy and bouncy for my tastes. I really tried for several hours to use these pillows. I tried several positions and in combination with other pillows. Sorry, but no joy. That being said, the pillows are well-constructed and the ticking is of good quality. There was some sort of smell that I only noticed after I laid my head on the pillows. It wasn't terribly strong and I'm sure it would go away after a while. (Just to let you know about my tolerance level for smells in the bedroom ... I have a gel-filled memory foam topper that smelled quite strongly, but it dissipated after a few days of airing it out.) I was sad to have to return these pillows, but they just didn't work for me. I guess I'll go back to my old Ikea favorites ... even though they need replacing every other year.

I want to start by saying even though I did not like the pillow, I LOVE Exceptional Sheets! They refunded the price and did not make me pay shipping fees! They even sent UPS to my door to pick it up! The reason I did not like the pillow: It did not have enough "give" for me. I like down (but can't have due to allergies) This pillow seemed to not let my head sink into the pillow, like down would. It was like I had to keep pressing my head down into the pillow because it would rise back up. Plus, it is not "squishable" like down. If you like to shape your pillow, fold your pillow or squish it all to one side, like you can down, this pillow is not for you. It is not for stomach sleepers either, too much lift.

These pillows are great! I am a side sleeper and use one pillow for my head and one to lay against. These are so soft and comfortable and would work well no matter what position you use for sleeping. I had delayed replacing my old pillows for way too long as everything was so high priced and I was afraid I wouldn't like a new pillow. I'm so happy I found these! Love them and the price was very reasonable.
