This tap is for occasional use. I needed to clean some leaf spring threads and tap worked fine. Overall length is 3 3/4 inches which wasn't ideal for me.

This broke after using for a short time. Not sure if that is normal but used as instructed and broke.

Used it to tap a hole in the subframe of a car, worked flawlessly even through thick metal, cuts clean and cleans good too
