2 Morse Taper to 1/2"-20 Threaded Drill Chuck Arbor

What I expected except a little too long for my MT2 tailstock. I had to grind off the tail (see picture at end opposite threads). Still, It was about 1/8 inch too long. After grinding it shorter, it fits and works fine. Much cheaper that similar arbors elsewhere, so I guess the grinding is worth it. Just keep cool water nearby, so you won't burn the metal while grinding.

Decent run out. Packaged adequately.

This arbor wasn't listed even though 1/2" chucks were available. I did some calling and found a company that would deliver one as special order. I was told 4 weeks but it came much sooner. Price was very reasonable for special order. Arbor is a good quality and Morse taper fits tightly in my lathe tailstock. I recommend this arbor for home shop use.

Just what I wanter to mount an extra drill chuck that I had laying around.

It is what it is and it does the job. It fits my tailstock, and the Jacobs chuck fits on it.

this was the piece that I needed, works great. For a small hobby lathe you just need to cut off the knock out tail to get more tail stock travel. Just what was needed!!! Very fast shipping too!!

It arrived as scheduled and was just as advertised.
