These are great for me. Fair price and I have pairs of these laying around in the cars and throughout areas of the house. I am fairly abusive to these and they do eventually break but I am satisfied with how long they last and just buy more when needed. I recently went to the optometrist for an eye exam and they tested the pair I brought with and they were exactly the correct power (+1.5) on both lenses. They even asked where I got them from and approved of me using them.

If you wear readers and have to take a training class, these are perfect. You can look at the instructor and look down at your computer. These are also good we’re looking at menus and your dinner date at a restaurant. Other than that, I’d say these are good for seeing if you need actual prescription bifocals, because these are of course inexpensive and the transition between the clear plastic and the “prescription box” it’s harsh…

A few years ago, Amazon sold a set of similar, but higher quality bifocal readers, but they no longer offer those, so I’ve been buying this brand. They work, but will break in as few as one use depending on how you handle them. If you take them on and off or put them on your head 5-10 times, or (a guaranteed break) put them in your pocket 1-3 times - they will definitely break. But, they’re super useful for when I’m working and relatively cheap, so I keep buying them. I could buy better quality bifocals but I feel like I’ll break them, too, just maybe not as fast. At about $4.50/pair, I can break over 20 of these before I’m in for $100. That said, I don’t use these for just sitting around the house or when I just need readers, then I’ll use regular, less expensive (but ironically sturdier) readers. These are complete junk, but work and are relatively cheap.

I have found bifocal readers are so much better when trying to read and engage with others around me. I can see my book/tablet and not have to tilt my head down to look over the glasses in order to see around me. I can watch TV while reading. It takes a little getting used to, but well worth it!My previous go to store for purchasing these types of readers no longer exists. I took a chance to buy these - they do feel cheap, but I use them several hours a day and have been pleased with how they have held up. All readers tend to be throwaway after a year. For the price, these far exceeded my expectations.

I used to go through pairs of dollar store readers every few weeks. The act of taking them off and putting them on my head when I didn't need them put a lot of wear and tear on them. With these, I'm still on my first pair, three full months in. I can wear them all day long and have zero issues. They're very sturdy, well made and quite comfortable.

For the money, you cannot beat this bargain. They came well packed and in good condition. The size makes for a good fit that will be comfortably on most any size head. I ordered the 1.00 Doppler for sharper images while looking at my computer screen and smart phone. I am wearing these readers now while composing this review. They are very clear and distortion free. I’m impressed enough to go back to my cart and purchase again so I have back ups. Awesome deal!

This is the second time I've ordered these. After a number of years I must go from + 1.5, now +2.0. I am still pleased with these glasses.
