Driftwood Cove: Two stories for the price of one (Harmony Harbor Book 5)

The story was frustrating. Shay was kick ass most of the time, until she interacted with Michael then she became a mess. Michael came across as downtrodden by his family, and it was hard to believe he was a successful lawyer. Would the FBI allow Michael to continue the investigation given his relationship with one of the suspects? Unlikely. Add in the complications of a butler, a ghost, a few strippers, the mob and more made it less credible as time went on.I don't know why the title says "two stories for the price of one" because there was only one story.Most of the reviews I read were by people who were given free copies.

I have loved some of these books so much and then some are just ok. This was one of those. The book contains so many characters and descriptions that it becomes hard to keep up. I love detail but this would have been better spent on depth of emotion Instead of an entire town of characters in one story.

Excellent author and book. I was not expecting suspense, mystery and some of the really great (some funny) characters in this book, but found this book to keep my interest from start to finish. The on and off relationship between Michael and Shay was also intriguing. Really like Jasper and Cherry characters and the parts they played in making a good ending. Highly recommend Harmony Harbor.

Shay Angel is smart, loyal and an ex-con. She is in trouble again and the only one that can help her is Michael Gallagher. His family betrayed here and now they are trying to make it right. So the chase is on between the good guys and the bad. Her friend Cherry will have you laughing like crazy. In the end it is all about trust. Loved the ending.A Fairytale Bride was quick and fun to read. Jeff brings Melissa back into the land of the living. Love an old bookstore and the love that develops between them. Small towns love to interfere but it didn't help. Only the truth can set you free.

Really enjoyed the badass female character and saw some more of why "Jeeves" is so secretive which was cool. Enjoyed the writing and the story.

I found myself extremely bored with this story. Characters and plot were just eh.

Debbie Mason's books are amazing I read from Starlight Bridge to this book in 7 days which having a almost 2 year old does not make that easy. Reading at night and during nap time and sometimes in between. I enjoyed and devoured this book (and the others) in no time. I can't wait for the next book so I can go back to Harmony Harbor. The story took you on many turns wondering what would happen next. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Another great read from Debbie Mason. I love how well this author develops her characters and I end up thinking them as friends. I love getting to know all the members of the Gallagher family especially when a ghost shows up here and there.
