SoarOwl Tactical Shooting Range Bag Locks Travel Luggage Lock with Password (Grey)

I didn't see the sense of paying $100+ for a range bag. I looked at several and it seems you are paying for the name. This bag is highly functional, it utilizes velcro and a soft lining to set up the internal dividers in a flexible configuration. The dividers are fabric covered cardboard (I think), I'm sure water/moisture would be a problem but the manufacturer includes more dividers than you can possibly use at one time, just switch them out if they get ruined. One large panel for the bottom of the main compartment prevents the bag from folding up when loaded with ammo. I've had several 50 round boxes in it without any problems but if it does start to fold up just get a heavier panel for the bottom, flexible plastic would work great. Lots of pockets, good stitching, I'm not going to say that it is better than the name brands but it fits my needs and my budget. I would recommend this bag to others and I might even buy another.

First time to the range I loaded the bag up with 5 handguns, mags, speed loaders, 6 boxes of ammo, ear protection, range finder, holsters, multitool, and a cleaning kit. Thats a lot of stuff, and the bag holds up well. I like the adjustable divider - it velcros to the bag interior, so you can set it up any way you want. I chose 6 evenly divided compartments, but if your needs are different, have at it. Its perfectly customizable. Great range bag at a great price.

I looked at the specs on a lot of bags and bought another bag, and I just wasn't satisfied. I needed a good bag for a tactical defense training class and this bag worked out just great. I am a female and wanted a bag that was big enough, but not too big. This bag had places on the sides for my mags, a place on the side for my gun, and plenty of room in the middle for me to put my ears, eyes, belt, holster, etc. It really worked out great! Very happy.

CA law requires that guns be in a locked container or have locking device affixed to each gun. The bag is well constructed, but the zipper pull tables lack holes large enough to secure with a small luggage lock. Some have a metal loop for attaching a lock, but the main zippered panel. The bag has velcro panels to create separate compartments, but guns don't stay put. Would gladly pay more for zippered velcro sleeves to contain each gun and prevent scratching or sliding around in bag. I like the size, sewing, and durable material. Very good for taking 2-3 guns and ammo to range.The magazine pouches are well constructed. Not sure if suitable for capacities larger than 10 rounds (CA limit).

Let me start out by saying I think this bag is good enough to serve its purpose,which is to transport your handguns, ammunition, and some other odds and ends to and from the range. The issues I have come across are minor but could be improved. For starters the dividers are very flimsy. When you put something in the side pouch it bends the dividers on the inside of the big pouch. Also when you use the shoulder strap no matter what you have in the bag weather it's light or heavy it folds like an accordian. Other than that it's a very roomy bag with a lot of functional use.
