Perfect size for a woman
Off the top it feels good in your hands, unbreakable bat not too heavy, good grip for easy use. I like the way it looks like a real bat.

Cold steel doesn’t disappoint.
Love it! Got it on sale. Rarely use it, but have smashed many things. Stands up great to cinder blocks, although there is some hand vibration. Had it for probably around 2 years now. Works great and very durable. A classic cold steel product.

Love this lil guy! Bought these for mine and my brothers cars, they are small yet hefty, easy to grip, easy to swing in tighter places, and can take a pounding. Tested it out on some coconuts and let’s say this, it was RAINING coconut milk everywhere!

Nice, but too heavy
I bought this for those nights when I want to check out a weird noise in the house. I have a 9mm with hollow points, which is great, but I'm not sure I trust the hollow points not to find a neighbor, or worse yet, one of my kids. This is nice, and certainly plenty weighty. I can't imagine being able to ever break it. But if you hit someone with this it would be like hitting them with a sledgehammer. You'd be as likely to kill them as anything else. Sure, that's great, if that's what you want (although a bit psychopathic), but the real problem is speed. I studied a few martial arts that depend heavily on speed and changing direction quickly, which you'll never be able to do with this (and yes, I lift). Not that it isn't completely useful and effective, just not quite what I was looking for.

Hopefully our daughter never has to deploy this. She has a strong swing already. This is of good build quality. Solid.

Brooklyn Basher, not the Brooklyn Smasher
The picture shows the Brooklyn "smasher" bat, but this is actually for the Brooklyn Basher. It's about 24 inches long. I wanted something longer. The picture was deceiving, showed the smasher but the Brooklyn Basher showed up regardless It's still pretty cool so I'll keep it.

Effective for property protection (and less likely than a firearm to land you in jail).
I bought this to protect my property from 'hunter-gatherers' who have been known to pilfer the area at night. They'll take rakes, hoses, lawnmowers, BBQ's, even car batteries. I own a gun, but carrying a firearm for property protection is begging for a $300k court case! I bought the bat so were I to have to defend myself while investigation some noises in my yard some night I'm much less likely to be made an 'example of' by the local D.A. were I to do so with gun. Besides... I really wouldn't want to shoot someone to save my stuff. But even shooting a warning shot in the air can invite an 'attempted murder' charge now-a-days. This Brooklyn Basher bat is the sensible way to go if you intend to step outside your home to scare-off a thief.As for the bat, it's a little shorter than a baseball bat, heavy enough to do the job... but light enough for fast response. The guy who designed it knew what he was do'in.

Hopefully I'll never use it for home defense but it's light, a good length and feels super strong. I'm going to buy a couple more. A very well made product.
