No more worries when I get uncut meat!
This is definitely a heavy duty kitchen scissors for cutting heavy stuff. I wanted something for my kitchen to cut chicken and goat meat. I normally would use a knife and bang it on the meat to cut them into pieces, now its become really simple. This is my first heavy duty kitchen scissors and its easy when I want I get uncut meat. I don't have to go through the hassle of using the knife. It's considerably sharp and the lock is very comfortable to store it in a small kitchen cabinet. The price is totally worth it, I feel I get more than what I paid for. Definite buy!

Sturdy and sharp scissors
Love these kitchen shears. The are solid and heavy duty without being unwieldy. I like the locking mechanism-it’s manageable with one hand.My only small complaint is that the cutting edge stops short of the corner of the scissors. Once I used them a few times I got used to it.

You need a pair of these
I try to always keep a pair of scissors in the kitchen because for me it is easier than using A knife especially since I am used to Cutting my children's food with scissors At work. The scissors are Spring loaded and do their job. They cut through sausage links without a problem and I am excited to put them to the test continually in my kitchen. I love that they have a lock so the blades don't accidentally open in your drawer

Awful.
These are just about the worst kitchen shears I've ever owned. They are like using opposite handed scissors (regardless of what hand or angle I use....) I was hoping to use it in combination with my meat grinder to cut meat into smaller chunks to fit into the tube. Barely cuts through soft meat like chicken and turkey, I ended up just using regular "office" scissors I bought from costco. If someone recommends these to you in a kickback type shopping list, do yourself a favor and just buy wusthof come apart shears. They are easy to clean and control, actually work and are only a tad more expensive.

Utensil is Limited in most of its uses?
My lady and myself agree the the product is well made, but perhaps its assembly needs more care?. Both she and I, found this scissors difficult to use. For her, the handles opened too wide for her small handgrip. And the locking trigger would close each time a cut was made, which meant that the trigger had to be released each time a cut was made! Which makes a cutting procedure a very tiresome experience! Its straight line cut was far too short @ 2"inches.(Her present kitchen scissors cuts straight for 4'inchess? And this product never stays on the cutting line that's chosen? The blades do not seem to be set exactly right for this scissors?

Good scissors, really like the design
I needed a good pair of scissors to use in the kitchen, and I wanted something that would be clearly recognized as the "don't use this pair to trim the rose bushes, cut the dog's hair, cut up paper for a school project, etc." pair that was not to leave the kitchen under any circumstances, which is what happened to the last 3 pair of scissors I bought. Granted, they were just regular cheap ones, but still. Anyhoodle, I actually like this pair of scissors very much. It does what it's supposed to do, they seem heavy duty but are fairly lightweight, with comfortable grip and function. I haven't used them to cut up any chickens or anything (ew) but I have no doubt these things could chop up just about anything. And the best part is, they haven't wandered off and gotten lost around the house yet! Highly recommend!

Only the tip cuts well and annoyingly latches closed automatically
Closing the scissors too much causes the latch to lock the closed. The cutting edge of the deep end of the blade does not cut very well. It seems as though the blades might be slightly bowed out and the small separation causes the object to bend around the blade instead of cutting it in this section, especially when cutting flexible plastics. Blades seems to be made with good harden steel and is sharp. Works good as a sheers cutting thick hard objects like small branches.

Easy to use, easy to clean
Nice kitchen scissors. They are a very good weight and feel in your hand and heavy enough to do the demanding job I need them for. Update; after using these shears I have found that the locking mechanism o.k. these shears are a pain in the hiney. Everytime I want to finish a cut the shears lock. Not handy at all of you are hands deep in cutting up a chicken or trimming pie dough. Three isn't a way to tighten the lock as it is riveted. Choose carefully

Mala compra
El sistema de bloqueo se interpone cuando la usas de manera continua, su corte parece bueno en un principio, luego te das cuenta que tal vez sirvan solo para cortar papel
