Adjustable Closet Rod 21.6 to 40.5 Inch Small Size Stainless Steel Clothes Rod with for Wardrobes, Shoe Cabinets(Need tools to install)

I think this is my first product review. These closet rods are so unexpectedly good I had to say something. These rods are outstanding. Easy to install, the rods extend and lock solidly in place with a quick twist. They’re rock solid even in full extension without any bowing whatsoever. They’re smooth when the hanger runs across them, even the connector piece is smooth as it’s tapered. Highly recommended even though they’re made in China.

After a bit of a struggle getting a replacement for one that arrived broken, I now have 2 fully functioning extendable closet rods that fit perfectly in a CloseMaid 25" modular tower (nothing else does) and hold a good number of women's blouses. The vendor shipped me a replacement closet rod quickly once they confirmed the problem I initially experienced. I respect a company that follows up and makes things right. As for function, the closet rod is solid, sturdy, extends smoothly, easily locks with a twist, and installation is a breeze as long as you use a long, thin screw driver (connector base is about 1/2" deep with a narrow opening). I suggest using a magnetized screw driver to hold the little screws steady. I would definitely order again.

This rod works but I could not use the holder part that goes into the wall. Once I screwed them both into the wall, I couldn’t get the rod on. I took one down and ordered a holder that was open at the top so I could get the rod in.I guess your supposed to put the rod in and then screw it into the wall but that was too awkward trying to get screws in with the rod in the way.

Nothing really to report. It’s a standard adjustable bar for a small closet. Easy to use and sturdy.

This fit perfectly in our small 22" space which allowed us to maximize our closet space. It's heavy duty enough to hold at least 8 sweatshirts, plus some other clothing. I give it 4 stars because I am concerned about the rod accidentally being twisted, causing the tension to release, and the clothes to fall. This happened once during installation - keeping fingers crossed for no repeats.

I needed a closet rod for an antique cheffarobe. Product info states it holds 55lbs: that’s a joke! I put 15 lbs on it after I installed it n screws pulled out!! It doesn’t take a genius to look at tiny screws provided would never hold 55lbs!! Lies all lies!! Holes in caps to hold rod are ridiculously difficult to use to screw in.

Very sturdy poles, easy to install, definitely worth the money!! Would recommend. Helped me reorganise my wardrobe x
