Tales of Robin Hood (Library of Fantasy and Adventure Series) Paperback – January 1, 1996

My elementary aged children really enjoyed this version of Robin Hood. They loved the good vs. evil, the medieval setting in Sherwood forest, the bows and arrows and knights. The pictures were well done, realistic and very complementary.

Great book. Used as a home school read aloud and kids really enjoyed it.

Good presentation of the most popular Robin Hood stories - the archery contest, the saving of Will Scarlet, etc. Much easier than Howard Pyle's charming book (which I think is too hard for most elementary and junior high students). My 8-yr old son is enjoying me reading it to him. Some 8-yr olds could read alone.

A page turner with great illustration. I was reading it to my 7 yo, and my 11 yo picks it up and just can't put it down.

This book was a bit wordy for my kids (age 6 & 8), but I enjoyed that it added in some extra history and not just the generic Robin Hood story.

Just beginning to read this book. So far, it has been quite enjoyable. Looking forward to finishing the book.

Arrived promptly and is just right for my upper key stage 2 class. Good pictures.
