I love this!!! but BUYERS BEWARE: Dishonest sellers update
UPDATE: I paid $54.99 for this when I bought it. I liked it so much that when my husband wanted to upgrade his home office, now that he is working from home full time, I bought a second one for him. However, I was shocked to find out how high the price was when I found it again and after paying the lowest of those prices ($113.99+ tax, free shipping), I was shipped a Stand Steady model (https://www.amazon.com/Stand-Steady-Easy-Clamp-Keyboard/dp/B076MBMWQH/) instead of the ErgoActive model that I ordered. From what I can tell, the Stand Steady model (link above) is identical to the ErgoActive model that I own (and still love). The seller charged me the inflated price, ordered the product from the Stand Steady page on Amazon.com and had it shipped to me as a "gift," complete with Amazon gift enclosures that would have allowed me to return the product to Stand Steady for a refund (price information cut off). I looked everywhere I could with a Google search and could not find any seller anywhere that has the ErgoActive brand in stock, so while I highly recommend this keyboard tray, SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy it through the Amazon page for the Stand Steady product. The only difference I can see is a different logo printed on the right bracket, where the ErgoActive logo is shown in the product pictured on this page.FWIW, I bought the ErgoActive branded product from a third-party seller, too (all of the sellers listed are third-party sellers, but they seem to be charging a higher price and pocketing the difference), and probably overpaid at $54.99. You should definitely NOT pay more than the $59.99 price listed on the Stand Steady page! All my other comments below are how I felt (and still feel) about the product itself.I use a 6-foot table for my computer desk. I had fastened an underdesk keyboard tray to it but it never came out far enough for me to easily reach the keys at the top of my keyboard. When I upgraded my monitor for a larger one, the keyboard was no longer in the right position relative to where I had to sit. I put up with it for over a year, but then decided to get a clamp-on tray and put it where I wanted it to go. I wasn't sure it would work with my table because it has a rolled edge instead a square one, so the first thing I did when I got this tray was to check that the clamp would go in far enough for the screws to fully grip the table. It did and the rest of the story is that I am very happy with this product.A couple of notes about this particular model. [Edited re- pricing, see above] The other one I was considering had ball bearings on the track, but it was made of particle board and I can't use it because of chemical sensitivities. This model has no chemical odor and since it's hard (not flexible) plastic, it probably will not outgas anything I can't tolerate. UPDATE: Have been very happy with this, no outgassing whatsoever! The second thing is that it helps to slightly lift the front edge when sliding it back and forth. I like the fact that when I have it fully extended, it stays put and provides a sturdy support for my keyboard without moving while I type. UPDATE: Around a year ago, the left side became looser when sliding on the track, but it still stays where I put it anyway. It doesn't have an actual "lock" position and it doesn't need one. My only regret is that I waited so long to do this, but when I bought my original tray, there wasn't anything like this available at that time (early 2011).I also like that it comes out far enough for me to easily reach ALL of the keys on my keyboard and it's wide enough for me to have plenty of room for my mouse and mousepad, with lots of room for "mousing." It's also deep enough for me to use a wrist rest in front of the keyboard, which greatly adds to my comfort while typing. I also have a wrist rest for my mouse, but I don't think I'll need it. My old tray had a raised area at the front to hold pencils, pens, and paper clips, so I needed a wrist rest to keep my wrists from hitting the edges of that, but this has a nice curved front edge and nothing that sticks up above the surface of the tray except the small lip at the rear of the tray, which is totally under the desk and not anywhere near where my hands would be.UPDATE: In addition to the above, the back rail does not have any grooves, which on former trays used to cause the cord on my mouse to hang up. Everything about this design works for me and it will be a great improvement for my husband's current setup, too.It was easy to assemble and the directions were clear. It seems well made and everything about it seemed of high quality. Even though they aren't visible when the tray is installed, the screws are black instead of silver-colored and there were 5 of them, just in case one got lost during setup. Nice little touches that increase my confidence in the product. All in all, a great find and one I am already enjoying very much.

Love it!
This was easy to install and over the last several months it has stayed in place well. I tightened it once. Of course, donβt lean on it. It holds the keyboard and mouse well with the necessary space needed.

Great, but the screw keeps coming loose on one side
As long as I tighten the screw every week or so, this works great. Easy to install and use.

Doesn't slide out smoothly, clamps difficult to loosen
Mine didn't last long. I needed to take it off the desk in order to do some drilling, and it was nearly impossible to loosen the clamp. I ended up bending it trying to get it off. Now I obviously can't straighten it back out, so my tray is tilted.

Cheaply Made/Sliding Tray Does Not Slide Smoothly
I bought this for a spare computer desk that I use when I need privacy during work meetings. It is very easy to install with just four screws needed for the clamps. It is also extra wide and easily accommodates my Logitech ergo keyboard and a mouse. However, it is made with cheap, rather flimsy plastic and does not have roller bearings for the sliding rail. The description in Amazon states, "SLIDING TRAY β Retractable smooth sliding rail design ensures the desk drawer slides smoothly forwards and backwards...." Not true. Given the price I would have expected a better quality product. I'm not going to return it but I would say spend a few dollars more and get a more sturdy keyboard tray with roller bearings.

Mostly just okay
Really easy to put together and install. My biggest problem I think all folds into one thing: the non-slip pads don't stay put.First I started noticing the clamps would pull away from the desk. I think most of that happens from the fact that the gliders, if not evenly pulled on both sides, get stuck and pull on the clamp causing it to slide just a little bit and over time becomes a pretty big movement. Then I started noticing the pads themselves were coming away from the clamps. They're just stick-on things and since we haven't hit the hot months yet, it seemed rather weird to me that they were coming away. Over time, of course, me moving them back into place and dust particles made it so the adhesive was losing integrity, so I tried fixing them by hot gluing them to the clamps, but the pictures above show that even that didn't do anything to stop them from coming off. Though it did take much longer this time.I thought the length was wider, but that was probably my misjudging. If you're a gamer, this tray does nothing to help if one of the tricks you use is "juking" or need to do any big mouse movements. It's great for standard office-style use, though. The parts themselves are very sturdy. The clamps are a nice, solid metal and while I was surprised the tray was plastic, it's a good, solid piece. I haven't had any problems or worries that if I rested my wrists too hard it'd fall apart or anything like that.Overall, it's an okay product if you don't slide the tray in and out too much. Though, for the price I paid, I feel I could have used that money to find the parts to build my own to my size specifications.

If you're going ergonomic, get this!!
I've spent way too long and too much money figuring out an "ergonomic" set up for gaming. I needed something to lower my keyboard/mouse after repeatedly sustaining shoulder/arm injuries from long, extended periods of gaming. This should've been my first purchase and I put it off too long because of the cost. Finding a desk and chair that works with my height (5'1") is HARD! I had an Ikea desk with the legs on the lowest point and it was still high enough to stress my arms. It was at the point I couldn't play for more than an hour without left arm acting up. This works. It's expensive for what it is, but it works. I can finally game a few hours at a time without my arms hurting like crazy. I still go controller whenever possible to mitigate. It's simple, sturdy, and takes less than 5 minutes to install. Much better than the other ones on here that require a drill. If you suffer from arm pain due to gaming, get this. It helps so much.

Bends Horribly
The main problem I have with this tray is that it's made of cheap plastic. So it's not like solid wood trays that don't bend at all.Instead, whenever I lay my palms over this, it warps in, and as a result, the keyboards starts wobbling with each keystroke which is super annoying. Moreover, the trackpad I've to the side of the keyboards becomes almost impossible to use since it no longer has a firm grip to the surface underneath, and starts moving around with each touch. The manufacturer should have provided support underneath the tray with metal rods to minimize this problem.

Does not bend horribly!
I don't know what some other reviewers are doing with their tray, but you're not supposed to put your weight on it. keyboard is on the edge of the tray and your arms rest on the arms of your chair or float in the air, which is better to resist carpal tunnel too. I expected this thing to break a few months in, but it's holding up good to everyday use, no signs of weakness. the sliding mechanism is not the best, but I imagine it's the best for this price point. there's zero bending for me, and the sliding mechanism hasn't even deteriorated yet because I use it with both hands (pull tray with a hand on each edge near the sliding mechanism).

Excellent budget tray.
There are a lot of 200$ range trays out there. That's a lot of money . So I decided to cheap out and get this 50$ tray.. I was specifically looking for a toolless install. Just clamps. I have those cheap Ikea tables which isn't solid wood. So I knew I couldn't buy the trays that drill into the table.I report back that this is the perfect tray for Ikea tables. Ikea tables are approx 1 3/8" thickness which is perfect for decent grip of the tray. The tray installs with zero issue and for that it's worth, it's fairly solid. Wide enough to hold your keyboard and mouse (if you bought the wide version. So far after usage, the clamps don't fail. The clamps ate solid metal but the tray is hard plastics. My main beef is you need to gently push the tray In and out with two hands , from each end. Or else from direct center of the tray. . if you do not, then it doesn't slide in and out because the plastics flex. The slider isn't the smoothest experience either. It's rather rough. But it works. Im going to put some wd40 or grease on the track to smoothen it out.Overall this is a great value keyboard tray. It's clearly is a budget minded setup. Don't expect it to be like your workstation at your cubical at work. It's just no comparison ... This is a budget tray that works great when you use it gently at home and don't rough it up.

Not sturdy enough - update
I like the size and the ease of installation, hate that it doesn't have a lip to keep stuff from sliding off because the plastic support system doesn't keep it from bending down, and it doesn't feel sturdy when I type. I had a fairly heavy gaming keyboard on it, and it was disconcerting. I was going to scrap it today, but then I decided it would be easy enough to remove the metal supports and make a wooden tray to see if that solves the problems that annoy me. I'm crossing my fingers because the metal clamps are screwed to plastic rails.Update: I decided to try something before going ahead with my project. I replaced the original screws holding the rails to the board with slightly larger an longer ones and this thing is rock solid now!! Adjusted my rating.

Works great with my IKEA Fredde desk would definetly buy again!!!
Pros-its is pretty easy to assemble (4 screws)-its pretty easy to install (twist 2 knobs)-the clamps feel solid-dont have to drill or permanently alter your desk-feels comfortableCons-there is a little bit of up and down jiggle/flex when you place or remove weight (hands/arms) but its barely noticeable and not bothersome at all-can be a bit finicky extending and retracting if you dont apply pressure near the middleOther thoughts-great for music producers, djs, students, illustrators, and other hobbyists who need more table space for their equipment/books but are unable to buy a bigger desk-works really well with my particular desk which has a groove cut out in the middle of it because i dont even need to pull the tray out to use the keyboard and mouse if i dont feel like doing so-could probably fit a medium size MIDI keyboard on the tray-could serve as a place to store and use a notebook computer
