The belt is a little tight, but I'm also a bit on the large side.It's a fairly nondescript belt. When it's not powered on, it's a black belt with a white stripe down its center, much like the patterning of a skunk.Like a skunk, the belt is capable of warning predators in their big, scary four-wheeled conveyances that come racing by that HEY! DRIVER! I'M RIGHT HERE!Unlike a skunk, it lacks scent glands to further deter actions. In place of those scent glands, there's a solid red light, and two strobe settings for said light - slow and fast.The light does travel down the full length of the belt, to both ends of the white stripe, and is sufficiently bright at night to help alert drivers of the cyclist or pedestrian that they're about to blow past.If there were anything I would ever consider, it would be to make the light stripe of the belt wider. The nail of my thumb is wider than the stripe, so it feels a bit skinny and less visible than I would prefer, but at the same time, the narrowness of the band is offset in part by its brightness.

we use this belt for our 2 1/2 year old when we are walking at night, for music festivals, camping etc.....I am SO glad we bought this.The fact that its rechargable is AWESOME!Everyone who sees the belt on her says what a great idea it is to put on her.It wraps around her waist twice.i love the 3 options of speed of the light blinking (or not blinking)LOVE THIS

Although it advertises it as "Fully Adjustable For Women Men & Kids," the actual adjustment is very limited.My waist is about 32", and when I wear this belt over the clothes, it is still not snug.So I don't see how kids can wear this around waist - they may have to wear it across the shoulders.Other than that, I think it works pretty well for my night walks.The price is reasonable too.

Still really bright after a year of use. I wear it to walk my dogs at night. It lasts about 3-4 uses of 0.5-1 hour each before you need to charge it. So the charge isn't super long, but you can tell when it's getting low since the light is dimmer. The USB port can be a little finicky and it has fallen out while charging before.Drivers pull over all the time to tell us how bright and noticeable we all, and how happy they were that they could see us in the dark.

I really like the belt, how the lighting functions, but the fit is not good. I have to wear it as a cross body unit over my shoulder as I can't adjust it to fit my waist because of the design of the adjusting system. I got the smallest size available in the blue color...Overall I would recommend it for it's lighting purposes. I use it when walking my dogs or running in low morning or evening light.

It has not caused a short or anything, works perfectly. I just assume that as it passes through the buckle it will wear faster and possibly cause a tear. It has not happened and it does seem very well constructed so if it does occur down the line I will be fine with it based on the price. I would recommend this belt.

I run at night and was looking for something to use so I can be seen. I wanted something without batteries so it doesn't run out. I found this and thought I would try it. It fits around my hips loosely but it stays on. I used it for a 45 minute run and it worked great the whole time. Would also use in my kids if I take them outdoors at night.

I hated wearing the lights on the arms and ankles. This was exactly what I was looking for and the light almost wraps all the way around - some other versions only cover part of the belt. When I run at night or early morning, there is no doubt the cars can see me. The fact I plug it in to charge it is great - battery operated ones don't seem to last long. The charge lasts through multiple runs.
