Very Quick and efficient
This heater worked perfectly! I have a moderate size tank and it recovered the tank to the desired temperature quickly without going over the max value. Works well! It was very easy to install and has not had any issues in performance.

Very nice heater
This heater is pretty nice and has lots of features for the safety of the pets and yourself. There's auto-shut off in the case of overheating or becoming exposed. There are some other features of that nature, including tubes that are "double-resistant" to "exploding". My guess is that they used double as marketing language to refer to the double tubes. There are two tubes for heating even though this is a 100W heater, which isn't even listed in the manual, and each heater is protected by it's own sandwich of plastic with an open gap between them. I've never seen this design before, not that I'm an expert, but it does make it a bit bulkier than other heaters. Small enough pets can actually come into contact with the tubes via the sides and end.I really like the fact that the controller is external to the heater, and that it displays both the set and current water temperatures. I don't like the fact that there's only one button to adjust temperature and mode. You have to hold down the button for 3 seconds until the top (set) temperature flashes, and then click the button repeatedly until you get to the temperature you want to set. This is cumbersome because it changes by .5 degrees and so it'll take several seconds to go from the default of 78 degrees F to the desired set temp. I don't see why they couldn't have added another button so that one button could be for temps and up and the other for modes and down, for example. It has the rare ability to show the temp up to .1 F.To change the mode, you have to hold down the button for 6 seconds until the mode light flashes, after which you can select one of the 3 modes.I filled a 2.5 gallon bucket with tap water. The water started at 68 F and increased by .1 F every 2-4 seconds. There are two suction cups included and you'll have to attach them to the special posts on the back of the plastic protector. Fortunately, unlike other designs, these actually fit over the post rather than sliding into a retaining hole, making them (hopefully) less likely to stick to the glass and pull off when you try to take it out. There is also a cord wrap that can be used to hold together multiple cords, and a double-adhesive pad if you want to connect the controller to a nearby surface (ideally above the water level).I did test the "out of water" function, which seems to be triggered by a current detector at the cord end of the plastic housing since it immediately shut off when I exposed even a small amount. That is really nice!I recommend this product.

Works as promised
Keeps water at temp. (Doesn’t actually glow) It did alarm in the middle of the night do to low water. Which is an awesome feature, especially since low water destroys most heaters. Better than the $$$$ ones I have used in the past.

Perfect for my goldfish tank
It heats up very quickly and can maintain a constant temperature even with a stream pump.Goldfish is suitable for temperatures between 68-82 degrees Fahrenheit, and the default setting is 78 degrees, which perfectly suits my needs. The temperature in VA has cooled down recently, and I obviously feel that my goldfish has not been affected at all. It is highly recommended.

Efficient, Durable, and Easy to Use
This aquarium heater is definitely on the larger side. I have a 20-gallon long tank, and it’s too tall to stand upright. Thankfully, the instructions mention it can be installed flat on the bottom or at an angle, which is the option I went with.Performance:The heater works really well. The digital temperature display and adjustment feature are fantastic, especially compared to the turn-dial heater I was using before. That old heater made it difficult to see the set temperature and didn’t have an indicator light to show whether it was working. When my old heater died, my tank went a few days without heat. As soon as I installed this one and set the temperature, it went right to work. Within a few hours, the digital display and my in-tank thermometer both showed that the water temperature was back to my desired level. The Automatic shut-off feature is great because it gives me piece of mind that if the water level drops too low I can be confident my heater isn’t going to overheat my tank or worse start a fire. Not an issue I anticipate having but its nice to have the piece of mind that this heater wont allow it to happen.Build Quality:The heater feels solid and well-constructed, with materials that feel durable. I expect it to last for years without needing a replacement.Ease of Installation:The included instructions were very clear, making installation and setup simple. The flexibility to install it flat or angled adds to its convenience, especially for tanks that can’t accommodate a tall, upright heater.Final Thoughts:Overall, I’d recommend this heater. While it’s too tall to stand upright in shorter tanks, the ability to mount it at an angle (or flat, if needed) is a major advantage. The performance, durability, and user-friendly features make it a great choice for keeping your aquarium at the perfect temperature and your fish both comfortable and happy.
