Iam doing my final year in btech chemical engineering and very much intrested in process simulation and simulation softwares. So i bought this book, i think most of unti operation are covered in this book in a simple and detailed manner.

I would recommend to for those start careers in Process design engineer, it would gives us reader brief overview of phase of project and documentation in New or existing design of chemical process plant . Also brief summary of design equation and correlation used in design equipment and various thumb rule for plant design . This book cover also steady state simulation and equipment design exercises also on various equipment . The outcome of book will be fundamentals skill set for process engineer such line sizing , hydraulic calculation , HMB using simulation , control valve sizing , Column and separator design , pump ,also differential case scenario exercise at the end of each chapter of design . One can start using book and enhance skill level to advanced in design and simulation

This book is short & concise and written very comprehensively and can be used as quick guide before interview. Apart from this no books comes close when Hysys tutorial is considered. I will recommend this book to every chemical process engineer.
