Easy Enough for Kids to Do Unassisted
My 7 and 10 year old had a lot of fun with the ALEX DIY Pinata Party. I gave the kit a look over and they assured me they could handle it on their own and in hour or so later beaming with accomplishment, they both brought my their creations which both looked fantastic. This kit came with very easy to understand instructions. You can make 2 double-sided kawaii style pinatas. You could have both sides perfectly matching or have each side look different. My kids did a combination with theirs.Everything you need is included aside from scissors which you will have to acquire to make the fringe. The material was decent quality and very colorful. Some of the the parts had adhesive that was easy to peel off the backing and place where needed. The stickiness is pretty good because those parts haven't come detached. The top part has a place that's easily accessible to put candy, treats, and other items in whether for long or short term. The pinatas make great room decor or fun fully functional mini pinatas perfect for a party! My daughter said she loved the kit and that it was a lot of fun. She said she's enjoy doing it again! Overall, a great rainy or any other day functional and fun craft kit. We only wish there was enough inside to make four separate design instead of just two.

BYO glue and scissors - great concept that needs better execution
My three-year-old and I have similar levels of ability with crafting, so we did this set together. It was definitely a doable project for a preschooler and parent even though it says 6+. However, we were disappointed that the glue is useless (good old Elmer's works perfectly with these materials). Because the tissue fringes are not cut to size, you also need scissors (not included) to shape the sides. The instructions are bare-bones and not very helpful; it's easier to just look at the photos and go from there. They do not say how close to place the tissue, how many rows of each color to use, where to apply glue for the door covers, etc., and while creativity should always be encouraged, clear instructions could allow for creativity while also making it easier to understand the template. Our final complaint is that the stickers do not stick well enough.I'm still giving this three stars because the idea is great and my daughter and I had a good time. However, this has a long ways to go before it can be considered a five-star product.

Low key easy activity with all supplies included; makes a cute pinata for decoration (or smashing)
This is kind of a no mess, very easy craft. It would be good as a low key activity for adults to do while hanging out, it's aimed at ages 6 and up, and it worked well to do with my 6 year old.I did this with kids ages 4 and 6. The 6 year old was able to do the basic kit. (And, he's not particularly well coordinated for his age, so in terms of crafts he's pretty average and not ahead.) So, ages 6 and up seems accurate. The 4 year old was basically not making the pinata, and instead was excited about the concept of filling it with candy and eating candy. The kit comes with 2 pinatas. Each has two sides which are very different. The half circle is a watermelon on one side, and a taco on the other. The circle is a donut on one side, and a unicorn face on the other. There is enough crepe paper to make two sides of a single pinata be the same, but there are not enough decorations to do both sides with stickers and faces and pasted on shapes. Each basic sturdy shape for the pinata base is made of posterboard. Those come already formed into shapes. Each flat side is like a big sticker. You peel off a cover paper and the big flat sides of each are sticky. Then you take pre-cut pretabbed crepe paper, which comes in strips, and you stick it on in strips to make the frilly part of the pinata. Then, you glue shapes on and put stickers on and decorate the sides basically like what the pictures you see on the box are. It comes with all supplies, including a teeny tiny glue tube. Time to do this was maybe an hour total, and that included doing all 4 sides, and leaving off on one for glue to dry, while doing another. The only actual difficult part was glueing the unicorn's horn into a tube. You get a precut link sparkly shape, then you roll it into a cone and glue the edge and pin in place to make the cone. I used a chip clip to pin it while glue dried, but that was kind of tricky. Of course, you could make a rainbow pony rather than a unicorn, and then not have to worry about the horn. The designs have a fresh hipster kind of feel. The taco in particular is more like a cutesy adult vibe than a kid item, and can work for social activities for all ages. Each pinata is teeny tiny. They are maybe 6 inches across for the round one, and 8 inches across for the half circle one. So, not really too big and awful. You can put a small bag of candy in each, and use as a pinata if desired.Overall, this is a pretty nice low key activity for conversation with adults (probably two adults, two couples, or two groups, since there are 2 pinatas) and for me worked well to do with children. The pinata is also a great item to make, because you can decorate with it short term, and then when you want to declutter, you can fill it with candy and smash it.

A Hit
Pintas aare always fun. This kit proides the makings for two. the themes will appeal to kids. They can make aa donut/unicorn and a watermelon/taco. The instructions are clear and easys to follow and the construction is half the fun. They are easy to fill with favorite treats. Depending on the kid, they may wind up as bedroom decorations. Fun for younger kids.

Cute mini pinata kit
This was a cute mini pinata kit.We really like craft kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something. It is nice because they can spend the time doing it and then they have something special to keep. They are excited when they make something themselves. This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy.I thought it was age appropriate. It wasn’t too hard. The children really liked how it turned out.I feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children's interest. It would also make a nice gift.I would recommend it.

It’s small but fun
This includes two very small Pinjatas. The decorating part was fun for the kids, but you should do it the morning before you use it, otherwise the decorations start falling off the sticky surface. Also use your own string to tie it up.
