It would have been useful to know about the flow/pressure recommendations, which determine the operating length beforehand. Not sure what my pressure is but the 10M hose expanded to only 22M suggesting it is lower than the optimal 4 Bar, but this length is OK for my application so no complaints.Quality looks really good. Good quality brass fittings, which are a little tight, probably due to newness - I might just smear some silicone grease on the o-rings to see if that helps. Everything fitted together, no leakage, connection to the tap was simple with the 3/4 adaptor supplied, again, no leaks. The kit also comes with a complete set of replacement seals and gaskets for extended service life.A different type of fabric cover to those seen on cheaper types, much smoother when retracted more of a concertina weave than a spiral weave, works well, very neat, and doesn't promote hose twist like our last one......which is now in the bin.The spray gun is very good, the thumb lever flow control is an excellent idea, so you don't need to keep squeezing the pistol grip to release waterQuite a bit more expensive than other makes, but very happy with the quality level, and I guess you get what you pay for. Don't know about longevity, only had it a day but so far so good.A good buy, well worth the money.Update: December 2021- the spray gun developed a massive leak in the side of the pistol grip. There was as much water spraying sideways as there was coming out of the nozzle. Contacted Fitlife on Sunday, and a new spraygun (upgraded version as the original was out of stock) was shipped on Monday and arrived Wednesday. Great customer service 5⭐️ - that’s how it’s done. The hosepipe itself is still going strong, still happy with it.

Good quality product.I did think one of the parts was missing but upon reading the product description online I discovered it was screwed in the end of the pipe and not in the plastic bag of other bits

More robust than previous extending hoses I have purchased. The tap connector does leak a little but is acceptable , shower head good. Only used it a couple of times so far and for short periods , does the job well but will reserve comment until I have used it for longer. Hence star rating.

This is how an expanding hose should be made.It has bonded metal connectors that lock positively to the tap and accessories.The outer protective cover is exactly that: strong and durable.The hose comes with tap adaptors, spare washers and a variable spray gun.The gun also has a metal connector and would probably cost £15 to £20 at a garden centre, so to get the hose and spray gun for £35 is a real bargain. Can't recommend this product too highly.

Update after 3 years:So my last hose lasted 3 years and the only reason it broke was through the years of use on the brass fittings yes, the brass went before the hose!!!This is well worth every single penny; I can't stress enough how much I used and abused it, I am a professional detailer and this hose must have seen close to 1000 water cycles and it's super durable, like I said the only thing that went was the brass fittings which I would say was more down to my abuse rather than anything else.It is lightweight, easy to use and care for, and now after 3 years I can confirm without a shadow of a doubt it is durable without question, I reckon it could have lasted another 3 years or longer if I had looked after it more.P.s vehicles weighing 2 tons have ran over it before and hot water usage never effected itPrevious review below:Brass fittings really give this product a more robust design as for the hose I gave it a quick go with the everything supplied and seems to work as it should.I'll have to see how the hose lasts long term and I'll make sure to not mistreat it and give it the best chance, but it is obviously much more surperior then some of its cheaper competition.I'll give an update in a month either on here or on my YouTube channel.

Purchased in early October last year (2024). Have left writing a review until now (06/01/25) just to see how I got on with the product. So far, so good. Use it at least twice daily without any issues. Went for the 50' length. Good quality, value and customer service. Would recommend appreciating that these types of expanding hose do not generally have a long lifespan compared to other types but hoping to get at least two to three years out of it.
