Really holds.
I purchased one of these to check out if they really work. I bought a home with a bath that had a glass stall with no place bolt on regular towel racks. So the only place was on the glass itself. I had doubts that it would hold with the weight of the towel. However when I received it I realized it was different to most regular suction cups I had seen before. The surface of the cup has a sort of adhesive but it is re-usable. Once you stick it onto the glass you have to turn the round chrome base clockwise until it clicks. It's almost impossible to remove it after that. It's been a few weeks now and at first I was cautious when I removed my towel, expecting it to fall off. But as time went by I tried to make if come off and it didn't. I have since bought 2 more. This system really works. The only reason I took a star away was because I think it should be a little wider to accommodate full size american bath towels.

You could have been more detailed in yr product's capabilities.
I like it but online I saw nothing about what it does and does not adhere to. Unfortunately I needed it for my powder room which is wallpapered. Only when I read the instructions did I realize that it wasn't going to work. So now, I don't need it but mounted it on my tile in my bathtub. Pls be more specific! Alot of $$ for your lack of complete disclosure!

For the price I paid, I thought it would be more robust. Two towels is a stretch to hold both without scrunching. It has stayed up on the wall, so I am thankful for that.

Really good suction towel bar
I attached this to my glass shower (very smooth) and after a month's use it's holding up as good as new. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was that the chrome looks a bit like plastic (I'm being nit picky here). But as far as function is concerned, no issues so far. The attachment consists of twisting the suction cups (which have some sort of adhesive on it) "on" and locking them in place. That's probably why they've stayed on so securely. Thumbs up on this item!

Initially great, but did not maintain it's suction.
initially loved this product. It worked well for about 5 months and then started falling off daily. Have send an email to the company and have not had a response.

Very good suction
It's very expensive but it really sucks onto my glass. It holds my bathing towel everyday and it only lost suction once in a year.

This suction cup towel bar really works
My kitchen has no place for a towel bar and I have brushed steel side panels on all of my lower cabinets, so I didn't want to mount anything that would require screws. This suction towel bar was a perfect solution for me. Unlike most of the suction cup towel bars that are available, this one has a small lever on each end that applies an extremely strong suction. Since I have smooth metal side panels on my cabinets, this bar works very well. It would also work great when applied to a glass surface, such as a glass shower door. But I don't think it would work on a wood surface. The manufacturer cautions that the surface you're applying the bar to must be smooth.I've had it up for about 4 months now and haven't had any problems with it coming unstuck. Just be sure you have it positioned correctly before you lock the levers.

Way too expensive for plastic.
I thought this towel bar was made out of metal from the look and thus willing to pay the premium $45 for it. It's actually plastic coated to look like metal. While the towel bar works and looks nice, it's way to expensive for plastic. I would have given it 5 stars if it were $10 but not when it's selling for a premium price of $45, it's not worth it.
