Wabi Sabi

This is a beautiful book that adult and 9-year-old child both enjoy. The recommended age on Amazon is 7-10, but in my opinion a wider age range would enjoy, both younger and older. The artwork is eye-catching and the kanji, romaji and translated versions of the haiku are great for those with interest in Japanese language study (though you do not need to be studying Japanese to enjoy the story).Can't recommend highly enough.

Love the many layers in the book: the haiku + story, English + Japanese/translation, Japanese direction of holding book, the various materials used for illustrations. One has to "read" each page various times.

My children, aged 5 and ten, absolutely love this book and I love reading it to them. Gorgeous illustrations and a lovely message

Washi Sabi is a very unusual story book. The illustrationtions are different too to create curiosity in a child. I know my Grandson is going to love it. A beautiful book. Thanks
