First of all the instructions included are terrible if English is your first language. Perhaps if you can read Chinese you'll have a better time understanding how to operate the camera. Regardless even when you manage to decipher how to work the device the results are unbelievably poor. The quality is nowhere near 1080p or 720p. I wasn't counting the lines to determine the exact resolution but it appeared to be sub 480p. It records audio and that is clear enough to understand but also of a low quality. The camera in the picture on Amazon is not the camera you'll actually get. It will look similar but it is obviously a different model (the instructions say the one I got was an SQ11, while an SQ8 is what is advertised here.) The camera only records in 5 minute increments which is annoying at best. Perhaps there is a way to turn this off but, again, the instructions make figuring that out all but impossible. The is no mention of this limitation anywhere on the Amazon page. You will also need needle-nose pliers to get your micro SD card out of the slot if you don't have exceptionally long nails.Overall I was very underwhelmed by this product. It is small and technically works but everything about it is of such a low quality I cannot recommend it to anyone. I saw a review here say that they want another one implying that it is on par with a Go Pro. That is madness and should not be taken seriously. In fact I'd be pretty skeptical of all of these reviews. If you still think this is the micro camera for you, go for it, but just know it is a far cry from the product that is being touted on the page and in the reviews.

For English user manual they have used Google translator badly instead of hiring a translator and manual is not helpful at all (if not misleading) that takes 1 star off. I'm in AV industry and unfortunately the resolution race in this market has caused any video just for sake of showing something claiming to be HD (720p, 1080p, etc) this video quality is 480p (at its best) and that takes another star off, most people take 2 for this one tho. I bought it a bit in rush and didn't realize it not including SD card, a required item for device to function, so I had to go buy one which was a pain, I wish they included and charged for it but they just want to say they are cheaper, another star off. I ignore other things like infrared and flipping image etc and leave my review with 2 star; device does not have proper indications and LEDs to show the status. I'll keep this for a week to see if this "cheap little camera" does some applications I have

The 5 star reviews must have been paid for. The camera that was sent is not even the same advertised, and there are no english instructions.* Plugged in for a few moments to charge & camera heated up like a curling iron... NOT SAFE! This is going back ASAP.

It was not clear to me I needed a memory chip. I tried to charge the battery without the chip and the red LED never went out after 24 hours. When I got he chip, the unit LED came up blue, like expected. I Have not tested the unit. I plan to use it in a model rocket. Where its smallness and light weight are pluses. I saw no G force rating. I hope it survives the lift off of the G40-5W I have for it.

The video quality was honestly very good. Left it on computer table and caught all the mischievous things my dogs were doing. Now I'm holding my pups accountable for the messes they make. Cannot wait to take this little thing hiking. My boyfriend wants me to get him one and he has a gopro.

IT records for 5 seconds and turn off. charged with my PC. Charged with my battery pack, that will start my car. charged with AC charger. Don`t waist your money. RUN.

Worst product ever purchased, poor directions, fell apart and never worked
