This is the only spray I found that was a basic brown. I used this to spray over my natural blonde for a costume. No issues washing out with shampoo.

The color has a reddish tone. Does not look like the picture

This hairspray had a very dark purple tint to it. The bottle and paint themselves worked fine, but I would not say that the color itself was true to the picture. If you don't mind the very obvious dark purple tint, then it works fine for Halloween purposes. The excess wiped off easily, so it didn't stick to his ears and neck. It washed out easily in the shower.

We bought this for our granddaughter to dye her hair from blonde to brown for a community play. The play was 3 nights and a dress rehearsal. We bought 6 cans of the dark brown and 6 cans of the light brown. The spray coverage was ok and it washed out that night so it was great for our use. The problem came when I tried to return the unused cans of hair spray. That is when I learned that the product was not returnable unless defective. Nowhere in the writeup for the hair spray does it say that. Now we are stuck with 6 cans of spray that we won't use that cost us over $60. I'm not sure it even rates 2 stars.

I bought this in Light Brown because I'm not allowed to have pink hair at work. I have that "neapolitan" hair. So I just needed enough to cover the pink parts. Lol. The light Brown is little on the darker side, but still blends well. It does dry like hair spray so I styled my hair before hand. In my opinion worked amazingly. And I washed my hair the day before so my hair was not wet.

This can of light bright spray on hue is practical when you need a quick root touch-up and can be a fun way to experiment with color without making a permanent commitment. The can had plastic holding it together which is very hygienic. The variety of color and wash-out features are a pro. Quality is average to above-average. I am happy I selected this. Worked as it should although shipping was late the product itself worked great and didn’t stain/stay in blonde hair.

Color is way too dark. Not even close to light brown. Returned for credit.
