FibroPool Swimming Pool Hand Rail Cover - Neoprene Comfort Grip - Slip and Heat Resistant for Railing - 76 Inch, Light Blue

I purchased this rail cover in April and 4 months later it has totally faded to a grey color and has two holes in it. We uasualy use our pool on weekends and there are only two of us that live in our home. So it was not over used. Very disappointed in the fact that it only lasted 4 months and not even one season!

If I'm rating the seller, I've had no contact with them so therefore I will rate the product. I am very disappointed in the rail cover only because it has been installed less than two months, and it has already faded badly. It looks like it is old and needs to be replaced. And as far as the seller's description, it wasn't quite long enough to cover the entire handrail (I bought the 10ft one, and it took a little to get it started, but then it zipped on up. I will probably buy a new one next year, but from a different manufacturer. Sorry.

Updated Again: Wow. Not quite a year before it cracked open and had to be thrown away. Lowering my initial 3 rating to a 1.Updated: Disappointed to see how badly this has faded in less than a few months. See the underside in original brilliant blue and the exterior is now faded to a grayish-purple. I've had these before from other brands and the color held up several seasons.Original Review: Fits super snug and does not slip or slide. Provides a really safe (and cool!) handle up out of our pool. Will be ordering two more for the ladder handles as well!

After one full year this is a miserable product. Deteriorated to useless in four months. Allergic to the sun... Important to stay away from this product.Previously - The color has faded from royal blue to a pastel blue and there is brittle flaking beginning. The product has been on the handles for 90 days. The Koolgrip solution for the the steps rail was installed at the same time and is showing very limited wear and no fading

this will keep your steel handle cool! it was not super easy to install, sort of a bit of work to pull the zipper up but keep at it, you can do it! LOL now, i did read reviews that say it fades fast and it did. but that was why i bought it. i wanted a softer blue than shown and after a month, its a nice water blue and i am happier with the new faded color. it doesn't slide around and give you a good sturdy grip on the rail. (hence my comment on hard to zip) this is much better than a hot steel handle! I would buy it again for another rail if i had another rail. I will re-post after a year and let you know how it holds up, and will post a photo of my new faded color, it really does not look bad and hey, what do you expect for something out in the sun all day? VA sun will fade anything.

WOW! This is impressive --- well made! The neoprene is very nice quality and the zipper is heavy duty and zipped on easily with a little help around the bends of the rail. I'm a seamstress so I always inspect the stitching on products. This is nicely done. So happy that it fits my pool hand rail like a glove. Got the blue and it looks so nice against the sparkling aqua of the pool. The man who installed the hand rail said that this cover is nicer than the ones he has. So glad I took a chance and ordered this.

Update:Didn’t even las 1 season. Would not purchase again. It was blue. Fell apart. Bought a different kind on Amazon.Original:Great product but faded quickly. (A week or so.) I bought the blue one. Notice the color in the picture. Buy the grey color. Otherwise 5 star. I also bought a black 2ft cover & put it on a grab-bar near the front door. They are super easy to put on. I thought it lasted just fine through the winter but I noticed a hole when taking pics. Still would recommend.

First time using a handrail cover. Glad I made this purchase! Our pool is in sunlight most of the day so the handrail gets hot. This is so much better and makes an older handrail (like ours) look nicer. A little snug on installation, guess it should be so it doesn't slide around, just needed another person to stretch it while one zippers it.
