It’s all bent up, but tbh I caused it
Great until I ran over it with the mower and bent it all out of shape. Guess I can’t blame the manufacturer for my carelessness..

A great help in the yard!
We have lots of trees in our yard, so this heavy duty tool is perfect to pick up branches from the yard. It's sturdy for large branches, yet it can still get the smaller ones. Nice buy.

The jaws are paper mache!
Not worth the money at all! I bought this item in hopes to be able to use it while picking up trash on my zero turn before I mowed the grass. I can tell you that it does not pick up what it says it picks up. The tines and the clasps bend constantly. Any attempt to bend them back to their original shape will end and broken metal. For the price you would think they would work well but I can tell you that is not the case. Picking up small sticks and trash should be something this thing should do with ease but it just bends and flops around like a twice boiled spaghetti noodle. It's just not heavy enough metal at the end to keep it from bending. I would probably say it's around 22 gauge tin. Other than not working well I would say The length is perfect. The mechanism to actuate the jaws seems decent but the jaws themselves are made of paper mache. If you read through the comments you will see where many people have said the jaws bend easily. You have been warned.

Over priced for what it capable of lifting. Poor design
The description makes it sound like this is heavy duty and it is not. Granted the design of the actual part that grasps what you are picking up digs in, but when you attempt to pick it bends. I have only used it picking up sticks a few times and it is just about ready for the trash. The light duty grabbers I have will pick up just as much as this one at about 1/4 the price. I have 2

Works Well But With Lightweight Construction and Non-Ergomotic Grip
So far it seems to work well for the desired intention which in my case was to pick up messy redwood tree debris from the garden, particularly where it has built up in relatively inaccessible places. The long tongs on the grabber end when used judicially with light pressure also help remove the debris from bushes and shrubs without ripping off their leaves. Having said that, it has very lightweight construction on the business end and has a totally non-ergonomic grip on the other which, rather than angled for easy use, is straight. I can’t use it for too long at a time without feeling the stress and strain in my lower arm tendons but, had the handle been angled, this stress would have not only been minimized but also control would have been far better.

Large stainless steel teeth
These heavy duty stainless steel handheld grippers do the job! I have a half acre of rocky grass to cut in our back yard. I carry these in the back storage section of my lawn mower, and when I drive up on a rock, even a good size rock, I don't have to get off the lawnmower to pick up the rock. I just reach the grippers out of the back, remain seated, pick up the rock, and dump it into the back storage compartment. (My lawn mower is actually classified as a small lawn tractor, hence the rear storage compartment.) The large teeth with the heavy duty stainless steel makes this work.

the grabber is mostly useful for picking up twigs and sticks for yard cleanups
the grabber works pretly well.. though the pictures of the unit picking up small 2" diameter logs is a bit far fetched. It usually took several tries before the grabber succeeded to get the item off the floor.
