It would have been nice if programming instructions were included
OK, I am a techie and was able to get this working, however I had to dig around to find the program steps in the question and answer section. I have a 48V cart that uses 6 - 8V batteries. So I have it now set at 12V and 4 batteries. For a 36V cart one would set it at 12V and three batteries.I calibrated the meter to what my digital volt meter reads as fully charged.I like the info the the meter shows, however visibility in bright sun light is not prefect.I will update this after use for a while. I would buy it again based on features which are great. Here are the instructions I found:There is nothing held in memory other than choices of voltage and readout. By unplugging display should read 0 volts. I have been using mine on my RV battery to monitor battery level. The unit does not drain battery. I like this unit very much. Here is the Install Manual.1. Push the white button on the backside for about 3s until it shows "1-U" and release it. Push it again for 1s it shows "2-b" and release it. Push it again for another 1s it shows "3-c" and release it. Push it again for another 1s it shows "4-d".2. When it shows "1-U", push the white button for 3s then you can adjust the voltage admeasuring apparatus. Push it for a longer time, the voltage goes up. Then push it for another longer time, the voltage goes down. Do it again and again. To save and exit Automatically after the screen is twinkling.3. When it shows "2-b", you can change the type of battery.12V: 1pc 12V Lead-acid battery3.7V: 1pc 3.7V Lithium polymer battery3.2V: 1pc 3.2V Lithium iron phosphate battery1.2V: 1pc 1.2V NiMH battery4.When it shows "3-c", you can adjust the number of batteries. Please refer to the following:12V Lead-acid battery: 1-10pcs3.7V Lithium polymer battery: 2-28pcs3.2V Lithium iron phosphate battery: 3-32pcs1.2V NiMH battery: 10-70pcs5. When it shows "4-d", you can adjust the display mode. "V" is voltage mode. "%" is percentage mode. "V %" is voltage& percentage cycle mode.

No instructions, doesn't work
No instructions for installation. No way to determine which wires go where or how to set up.

Read the fine print on the website when purchasing - doesnt come with instructions for setup/calibration.
Installed on my 48v Ezgo TXT -- only flaw I found was in the setup, there was no combination for 8v cells - so to get my 48v I had to use 4 12v cells, and not sure if that will affect my charge % accuracy or not - but it does track the voltage accurately.

Looks great, works well
I call it my "fuel gauge" for my Club Car Precedent. Looks great, works well. Does NOT have the ability to shut off but uses so little power it doesn't matter. All golf carts should have one....

Does not work
This gage does not work. I ran my cart until the battery was dead the gage still showed 100% full battery. It’s a waste of money.
