We have really put this one through the test and it has held up. I was worried when I used it the first time that our hot cocoa lost temperature too easily. However, I took the week to test it and realized that it really does need to be preheated to be able to get the best functionality out of it. We now fill ours with hot water 1 hour before we need to fill it. We put the lid on it and let it set. Then we dump out the water and put in our hot beverages and they stay hot for several hours. Probably like 6 to 7 hours maybe even 8. Great functionality. Works like a charm. We haven't had it that long so I can't say anything about durability over the long term. We have had no leakage and the seal that goes around the edge of the top is very secure. I don't think it holds a entire 5 gallons. I would say it's more like four and a third gallons. It's still worth it though. We just use the shower attachment in our tub to clean it out with soap and a brush. We have had no problems keeping it clean. We are so glad that we made this investment.

We have 2 of these - we use one for hot and one for cold. They both work great keeping drinks at their temperatures for a long time. It is easy to remove the nozzle for cleaning. Make sure if you clean the nozzle that you tighten it as much as possible or it will leak.

Very good, keeps drinks hot for at least 12 hours, minimal leakage. But it is very heavy

Wish the Spicket was a little higher. I did have to raise it to get 16 oz cup under in comfortably. But love it! Insulation works great! Our lemonade stayed cold

It leaks the rubber seal is difficult - I had to return it

Not tippy to transport by snowmobile. When transporting it the spout is protected by the structure. Good big handles. Heavy but that's because it is sturdy.

Bought for my daughter’s ice skating party for hot chocolate and it worked amazingly! You MUST PREP with hot water for at least 15 minutes before putting your hot beverage in. Kept it hot 6+ hours. Easy to clean and did not leak while driving to party.

Excelente investment for keeping Hot Coffee Hot for hours. But read instructions to preheat insulator Hot for Hot beverage or Cold for Cold Beverages and will keep temperature for hours.
