Royal Albert Modern Vintage Tea for One, Rose Confetti

This "Polka Blue" Tea for One is absolutely beautiful. The base colour is light blue, The porcelain is strong. The shipment arrived fast and well packaged. Very good price!

Looks gorgeous even though it's made in China.

Was a bit worried about the size of the cup but it is perfect - a good large breakfast size cup (400ml). Everything fits together perfectly. I use 2 teabags in the pot and get 1.5 cups of tea. Arrived in a beautiful Royal Albert presentation box which is ideal if you are giving as a present.

Very pretty & very pleased.

It is a very pretty set. It is heavier and bigger than I expected. The teacup is almost the size of a soup bowl, but easy to clean of tea stains. The teapot has difficult ridges on the inside (bottom and sides) that are difficult or impossible to clean of tea stains. Feels rather heavy to pick up the teacup, but I have been using it anyway because it is quite pretty.

La tetera es preciosa, pero cuando la fui a utilizar por primera vez, al añadir el agua caliente en la tetera se produjeron dos micro fisuras, y empezo a gotear. Me lleve una gran desilusion porque confiaba plenamente en esta marca.

このカントリーローズとポルカローズの2セットをリビングルームのテーブルに載せています。色・柄・形も気に入っています。一人用ですので、自分の分も、又来客者の分も共に準備が簡単。カップにもたっぷりの量が入り、ミルクも好みによって十分に入ります。と言っても、カップの大きさが大きすぎるものではありません。オーストラリアのMyerでインドネシア製の物をほぼ倍の価格で売っていました。Amazon日本では今の所中国製の販売ですが、インドネシア製の半額。製造地が共にアジアであるのはグローバル化という時代の流れで止む無いでしょう。購入して楽しみが一つ増えました。

Of course this 'Tea for One' set it absolutely stunning! I can't say that enough abut the Royal Albert collections. The tea pot holds approximately 1-2/3 cups of water/ tea etc. The teacup is quite large as well. the saucer is larger than the regular saucers at about 6.75 inch in diameter. Also, this tea set is thicker/ sturdier than the smaller teacup. There is no filter inside the pot so maybe you might want a tea strainer. overall, I'm really happy with this set . P.s. the blue is more of a powder blue and not as green/ turq as some of the pictures show. the flowers on the saucer are scattered slightly differently than the smaller version of the saucer.-- oh and a final note: This tea set is NOT dishwasher/ microwave safe. ITS HAND WASH only!
