Fire!
Great insert with a solid useable flame. Seems to be durable and of high quality. Fitment is perfect in a standard Zippo case. Only downside is that it seems to have a relatively low butane capacity, so it doesn't last too long. Works great though!

Cool EDC
Features a vintage design and functions as an excellent EDC lighter. Although I don’t smoke, I carry it daily for its practicality and style.

Fits perfectly into all of my vintage Zippos
This fits perfectly into my old, zippo lighter, feel like it’s getting new life. My thumb finger doesn’t get scratched up anymore as this one you just push down and it clicks and yayy fire 🔥. I would say it’s insanely cheap for bringing my zippo back to life. I think it’s about the same weight as the new and vintage inserts. It looks like my old zippo lighter Yayy. Seems to work good too. Here is a picture of her.

Strong Flame But Goes Through Fuel Quickly
I recently picked up this Zippo single torch butane lighter insert to convert my existing Zippo case into a wind-resistant torch lighter, and it's been a practical upgrade for outdoor use. The insert fits perfectly into my standard Zippo case, maintaining the classic look and feel while providing a more powerful and efficient flame compared to the traditional wick lighter. The single torch flame is strong and focused, making it much better for lighting cigars, candles, or starting fires in windy conditions where a regular Zippo flame would struggle or blow out. The ignition is reliable and lights consistently with a simple flick of the thumbwheel, and I haven't experienced any misfires or difficulty getting it started. The windproof design lives up to its reputation, as the torch flame stays lit even in moderate wind without needing to cup my hand around it for protection. The butane fuel is easy to refill from the bottom of the insert using standard butane canisters, and the process is straightforward once you figure out the correct angle and pressure. However, the fuel consumption is noticeably higher than I expected, and I find myself refilling it every few days with regular use, whereas my old fluid-based Zippo would last much longer between fills. The torch flame burns hot and intensely, which is great for performance but means you need to be more careful about positioning it away from your fingers or anything flammable. The insert can get warm to the touch after extended use or multiple ignitions in quick succession, though it's not unbearably hot. The flame height isn't adjustable on this particular model, so you're stuck with the preset intensity, which is fine for most uses but lacks the flexibility of adjustable torch lighters. Overall, it's a solid butane insert that transforms a classic Zippo into a reliable windproof torch lighter with strong performance, but the high fuel consumption and lack of flame adjustment are trade-offs to consider.

Butane last much longer than lighter fluid, have to hold for flame
This butane insert has been a great upgrade for my Zippo. It dropped right into the case with no fitment issues and immediately feels more convenient than the traditional lighter fluid insert. The flame lights consistently enough and burns clean without the fuel smell or evaporation you get with standard Zippo fluid. Refilling with butane is quick and easy, and a full fill lasts longer than I expected with regular use. Overall build quality feels solid and in line with what you’d expect from the Zippo name. One minor downside: the button you hold to keep the flame going is a bit small. It’s not a dealbreaker, I have larger hands it just took a little getting used to. Aside from that, this is a solid option for anyone who loves the classic Zippo look but doesn’t want to refill lighter fluid every single week.

US Navy Official Licensed Zippo w/ Blue 2X Butane Insert 👍👍👍
Dude when these guys design something they knock it out of the park. I buy the Zippo I want, and then I put one of these bad boys in it, and the Zippo is made in the USA, and the butane insert is made in China at the factory in China. So I am still carrying and holding a US lighter lol I do what i can they don’t make these here and they are aweosome. So well designed and engineered and honestly manufactured. The finish on these is impeccable and surprisingly durable. Dang do these things work good as intended I am a pyro and an outdoors type primitive camper and primitive woodsman history enthusiast, I use propane heaters and the like, I burn wood, I burn various fire pits, charcoal grills, I smoke, I like to start random little fires whenever there is an excuse anywhere that it’s appropriate, and I have always loved lighters. I have spent so many hours debating the relative merits of Bic vs Cricket vs Clipper vs etc etc., debating various types of fuels/combustion methods including DISSIM, torch/jet, plasma arc, petroleum/lighter fluid (classic zippo), tsubota pearl, various different ignition sources such as piezo or steel and ferrocerium (“flint”), combustion catalytic conversion hand warmers with built in lighters etc etc. These are really good lighters. Zippos are already so solid and proven and they kicked it out of the park with the butane inserts imo. Doggone Zippo still killing it after all these years. Wish i had my original USS Decatur - DDG 73 - Zippo that I bought in the ship’s store onboard when I was a young recruit in the 1990s and I was serving on the Decatur when she was commissioned. I bought it before she was commissioned, after she was christened but not commissioned yet and she was still going through Bravo trials in Bath Maine before sailing to Portland Oregon for the christening ceremony. That lighter was beautiful and I am sad to this day the box was lost in a move that had this lighter in it. Grrr/uggghhhhh. Oh well. That’s life!

Excellent way to modernise your Zippo.
Love how it blends the classic Zippo look with modern butane efficiency and ease of use. Super safe and easy to fill, and the amount of fuel it holds is adequate. The flame is adjustable and, great for lighting cigarettes or when camping. Never leaks butane, which is a plus.

Works well but buy a new flint
