I ordered these as part of a lighting upgrade for my kitchen. As retrofit lights, I wasn't familiar with the mounting mechanism, and so wasn't able to get them to mount in the existing holes as expected, though I think that this was due to the fact that I was replacing recessed lights that were 20 years old. Pairing these to my WiFi was straightforward and with the app it was possible to control both the main light as well as the ring light in different color combinations. Overall, I think that these are nice lights, I did not end up keeping them because I couldn't get them to mount in my recessed lighting holes correctly. I think that they are expensive compared to some other options in the market, but your mileage may vary.

I have used and tested many Lumary products. Most have been pretty good but I have been able to find minor fault with each of them. However, this time, I am pleasantly surprised and it seems like Lumary has made some fairly significant improvements to their retrofit lights. The most notable improvement is their reliability and speed connecting to wifi. Where I have struggled in the past, these have been rock solid so far. They react quickly and connect perfectly every time. App has also produced simple refinement. I like the basic scenes that come stock and like other Lumary products you can customize your settings and programming. The color temperature and brightness control is fantastic and very flexible to dial in your preference. The addition of the secondary LED ring also adds ambiance and intrigue. My only complaint is that these leverage a less than optimum mounting method. The spring style tabs are not the easiest to get nice and tight and even. It takes some fussiness to get the lights flush and even. Other mounts are superior in my opinion. But all in all these are very nice and perform wonderfully for an entertainment or studio. They would also be nice in a bedroom if you want some ambiance or color. I can say I recommend these.
