Fell apart on first trip/use! Can I get a refund or exchange?
UPDATE: I explained my plight to the vendor, Reni Premium Store and they really came through. They sent me a new belt (didn't ask for the defective original to be returned) and so far it's holding up quite well. There are no rivets on this version so I suspect that it may be a newer design. Only stitching and looks quite robust. The plastic buckle results in quite a light product which is very comfortable to wear. I asked them to send the next size up just in case and would recommend that if only for the extra slack if needed.BTW. this is the second time I've tried to post this - let's see if it takes!Original post: Not impressed. I just wore it on one trip and a rivet fell out halfway through. I'm not a heavy person - waist size is 32 and I weigh under 150 lbs. The belt is a size 32 so.... I don't even really need a belt. But this one still fell apart. Do I get a refund/exchange or what?

Works with metal detectors, but not the TSA hands up clothing scanner.
Not TSA friendly. Yes it is plastic, yes you will get through a metal detector but the hands up scanner at the airport will pick it up and you still have to remove your belt. I thought I was going to spend a little money to eliminate the hassle of the saggy shuffle at the airport but it wasn't to be. I'm returning it.

A really well made, metal-free belt
This is a really nice, well made belt with a plastic buckle. I liked the first one so much I bought a second as a backup. I have purchased other non-metallic belts, but this one is the best so far. I would have no problem wearing this as a general purpose belt - the leather is great, the fit is accurate, and the buckle is sturdy and nice looking (and not obviously plastic - no one will know). And of course it does well at its primary job: not setting off the super sensitive metal detectors at my workplace.I won't be looking elsewhere after I wear this out - this belt is perfect if you need a quality belt that has no metal.

Finish is rubbing off
After about a month of wearing every day, the black color is rubbing off. As far as getting my husband thru the metal detectors at work, it's great, but it's too expensive to have the finish rubbing off this soon.

Pretty Crappy
Bought this cause my dermatologist said I probably have a nickel allergy. Pretty horrible buckle. It's just plastic. But it's nice because you can interchange with a different buckle and the Snaps are plastic (Xtra stars 4 that)UPDATE...The leather on this belt is really crappy. It just warps and I've only had it for like 6 weeks. I expected much better for $40. I'd like to enclose pictures so you can see what I'm talking about, but can't figure out how to do that.

So Far, So Good
This belt seems to be of good quality, although I have worn it for only a few hours. It is light weight but constructed from a strap of Italian leather (at least that what the label says). The belt buckle is made of plastic and looks durable. How long the belt will last will be a question. The belt is made in China. I have a 36 waist, but the 38-40 inch belt fit perfectly. I noticed the price jumped by $3 from several days ago when I ordered it.

Mostly works
This belt doesn't set off the metal detector at the airport, and holds my pants up. Looks OK from a distance. The leather is so-so quality, probably won't last too long. The shape of the buckle causes the belt to bulge over it; I think it would have been better to have put the opposite curve on it.

Bottom line, stay away
I travel a good bit and work in a high security facility which requires me to be metal free unless I want to strip down five times a day. I ordered one of each color. I thought the belts seemed a bit expensive for what they were, but they appeared to be a nice cross between casual and dress AND I wouldn't have to take it every time I left the facility. I was very disappointed when the belts arrived. There were 4" difference in the two even though they were marked the same size. One fit and one didn't. I figured they were miss marked so I guessed and ordered two of the next size down. They were both too small. There was only 1" difference between the ones marked in the smaller size. I contacted the seller who proceeded to tell me how to measure myself to get the right size... Not helpful. They need to focus on quality control. Out of 4 belts I had one that fit so I started wearing it. Within 1 week it is starting to peel. Peel??? I have never had a leather belt peel. Bottom line, stay away. There are other alternatives and this was a poor choice. Returned everything. Amazon is great to work with as usual.
