66059K Garage Gator Motorized Storage Lift, 220 Lb., 6'. x 3'. Platform, Black/Orange

Hardware was falling out of the box. There was no indication that there were going to be two packages, so when the platform arrived without the motorized hoist mechanism, I sent it back as not being correct. Then the hoist mechanism arrived, followed by another platform (hardware falling out of the box). Then a second hoist mechanism arrived - which I sent back. Overall, the product is well designed and accurately fabricated. I had to adjust the cable lengths to make the platform hang level (even when empty). Once loaded with 2 mountain bikes on a rack, I added counterweights to the platform to keep it level.

Well until I get the platform instructions I don't even know if all the pieces are there the gator itself is ok. I'm a 53 year old disabled women but I got installed. The gator seems ok the instructions could use improving. The 3 X 6 platform that I purchased with it didn't come with any instructions or what the contents I was to have. The hardware is loose in the box after all that money they couldn't spring for a plastic bag. Also, I can't finish the project until I get a manual so everything is just laying on the garage floor where my husband's truck is to be. Our HOA is going to love him parking in front of the house. I've emailed the company lets see how long I'll be ignored.

Was a bit of doing to put it up but all went well, it works and holds 220 pounds or so... make sure you have 10' or higher garage ceilings tho'...

Instructions leave much to be desired. It does lift items on shelf as advertised. Would be better if the shelf had a lip on the top of the shelp to keep itmes from falling off.

So far it works pretty good. I am happy with it but have not worked with it alot. It does not lift 200 lbs though.
