I've read that shilajit is some kind of naturally formed tar substance high in mineral content so it makes sense it would be a good addition to shampoo for healthy hair. It also sounds like it's not highly regulated though and can contain all kinds of organic matter so I did a skin patch test first for any potential allergic reaction or sensitivity. I didn't notice anything negative so I used it on my hair and it is quite nice. It seems to clean my hair and scalp well while also leaving it smoother and less frizzy.

Unfortunately, this shampoo is going in the trash. After a single use my hair was really dry. I thought maybe I'd give it one more try. That was a mistake. I had quite a bit of breakage and even some hair falling out. This just isn't a good shampoo for me.

The shampoo smells nice and easy to apply. You don’t really get much for the price and I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary with this shampoo but I guess more testing is needed for me. I do wish it would lather better as I had to use quite a bit for a nice lather. Cleans well. Definitely will need to condition afterwards as I usually get dry hair with most shampoos

I love the scent! This shampoo cleanses thoroughly, roots and scalp, and it is gentle. Good ingredients, and I like the results on my hair.

man they're putting shilajit in everything now. i've heard about health benefits upon consumption but in your hair??this shampoo smells good though and did lather well and rinse cleanly. i just wish it was more volumizing.
