These watering tips are stone or clay or something porous. Much better than the plastic ones which tend to drain quickly. These let the water ooze out as the plant draws in the water. They work well & will accommodate two different size plastic water bottles.

The threading on the units simply doesn't fit any water bottles we've tried. We've tried four different bottles from different brands and the threading is far too large. As far as I can tell, it only fits 2 liter soda bottles and not smaller water bottles as shown.

HOWEVER, contrary to the description, the spikes do not work with all (American?) bottles. We tried water bottles (16.9 fl oz Ozarka) and a Snapple bottle (16 oz) with both adapters provided without success. The bottles did not screw in tightly as would be required. We’re not soda drinkers so can’t comment as to whether the sikes & adapters would work with coke or similar bottles. As things stand, however, this product is useless for us.

Water drained too fast

No complaints really. I drink Perrier, and the bottles are actually a perfect fit for these soil devices. I filled the Perrier bottles with water, make a very small needle-like hole at the top so the water can flow smoothly into the device as intended. So, they work fine for me.

My initial review is based on what I've seen so far. I used 12oz bottles and it empties in less than 1 day. I've got the cap as tight as it can and based pn the instructions on the box put a small hole in the bottle. I like the design and idea but the performance is failing.Update: despite what the box says do not put a hole in the bottle. I sealed the bottles i have and it's working as it should now

If there was zero star, I would have given it! This things killed my house plants. The water in the bottle emptied in less then couple days. When I filled it again, Then it got emptied in an hour. Definitely not worth the purchase. I have had my plants for many years and this thing killed my plants in three days!!!

Delivered the entire bottle to the plants all at once instead of over time. Didn't work for well at all. Very disappointed.
