I've had magnetic holders in the past, but the base was so large I had a hard time finding an area large enough on my Dash to adhere it to. This phone holder it is so compact I had no problems finding a place to install it on my dashboard. It may be compact in size but the magnetic hold is very strong. I would recommend it to others.

This phone holder is just what I have been looking for. It is small and compact and very durable. The magnet is very strong. I have a samsung note 7, so it is a pretty big phone especially with the case. But this holder holds it as if it were light as a piece of paper. I can go over bumps, pot holes, uneven pavement and not worry about my phone slipping off. Follow the easy install instructions and you will have no issues. Very satisfied.

I purchased this for the purpose of mounting my iPhone on my dashboard. Makes for easier visibility when using maps. It arrived on time and I had email from the seller even before the package arrived. There followed specific instructions for using it and how to mount it. Not only their detailed instructions, But a YouTube video as well. Regular emails post purchase to confirm that all was well and offer one on one assistance if needed. I've had several gadgets that touted the ability to hold my phone. Most of them worked for a while but this one I expect to last a very long time. So far, it's been a few months and it's doing well. I like that I can move it around. I use it for my iPhone 8 and it works well. I put the disc under my phone cover and the magnet is plenty strong enough to hold it through the case.

I have had a similar product in the past that had a larger swivel and had no issues until my kids lost the magnet piece. It’s no longer on amazon so I tried this product.It does not work with an iPhone plus slot other similar phones. No matter we’re i put the metal plate on my phone as soon as you hook the phone on it it drops down until it rest on my dashboard. Magnet seems to work well if only the swivel works*update - I changed rating to 4 stars becuase the product does work just not for larger phones. Loved it from the first. Just as described but wouldn't hold my phone in place as I drove around. Got in touch with support and they shipped out a new one. You can totally see the difference between the two. This one is much more solid and although it does the whole 360 it is now less likely to droop. Love it!

I will rate the performance of your Nextstors with my phone in my car. I installed the Nextstors in the dashboard of my volvo. It is an iPhone 6 Plus wrapped in an Otter case that has saved it numerous times when falling. However it is rather heavy so I need to be careful when sitting the phone against the dashboard magnet because it tends to fall easily. The solution in my case might be a car mount with a larger diameter face that will hold it more steadily. Overall it is a very good product that has provided a truly hands free view of GPS and incoming calls when placed balancing the weight. My husband phone is smaller and lighter and the Nextstors grabs it considerably better.
