Gotham: Season 4 [DVD] [2016] [2018]

Happy days are here again... I just can't get enough of this story it's a dark journey into dystopia and I love it. This is geek heaven. This series puts Game of Thrones in the shade...About the only film I can put on a par with this is the Shinning or One flew over the Cokoos Nest.

Iv seen every batman film that had come out to date but it was great to go back in time with Gotham and see how all the characters started out and become who they are, it really keeps your interest and wanting to watch the next episode.Definitely one to watch you will not be disappointed😀

I loved the first, second & third series...but this one is the best so far. In fact, I love all the DC Super hero series, but like I said, nothing comes near to Gotham. The casting is suburb, the acting is great, and although it can get dark at times the production maintains that "comic book Dark knight"feel. What more can I say..5 stars all the way!

This was a Christmas gift for a friend, but we'd also watched it and are all agreed it's well worth owning. It's stylish, fast-paced, dark and intriguing - perfect for binging over a long weekend.

This show is great - it is dark and at the same time fun and entertaining in the same kinda way as the comics are. The characters are well acted and ‘believable’ and complex in their histories as the backstories build over the seasons. In my opinion, the show lends heavily on the Dark Knight style of story telling - even if the stories themselves don’t copy the films. I like this series a lot and am happy that it’s focus is on Jim G as we see the young Bruce find his path.

This is not a review of the show itself, which is great. In fact, Gotham is probably my favorite of all the DC Comics TV shows that I am currently following (Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl being the others).What put a damper on my excitement when I received the season 4 Blu-ray box set today, however, was the fact that - once again - the slipcase has sustained damages during transport. No major damages luckily, but dented corners and spine is not what I want when I receive a brand new box set. The A1 envelopes that most Blu-rays are shipped in are not sturdy enough to protect Blu-rays with slipcovers properly, and should not be used when shipping Blu-ray box sets in general.

Started out as a good idea in season one but has been running on empty thereafter, same old plot lines, same old characters, same old same old. All formulaic and predictable with some questionable acting talent, screenplays remixed clichés (the just shuffle the pages of a master screenplay each episode). Despite that, the visuals are top notch: it's all wrapper and no content. Can't make out if it's aimed at kids, or childlike adults. Passes the time if there's nothing else to watch.
