Great tasting slate pencils
Great tasting slate pencils . Do not bite into the slate pencil as it will be hard and might break your teeth . There pencils were packed nicely and few were bits . Soak them in water for just a minute so it takes away the white powder and will have earthly flavor . Quality is good and value for money .

Good but flavorless
The media could not be loaded. Dusty, may come off on your palms. Has no real flavor, plastor and wall, a tasteless cement.. these are crunchy textured, 50pcs shipped swiftly from INDIA, cut from natural stone. Priced around 8$. Overall decision when I want slate pencils I will go for IRAM because of taste

Good taste
These slate pencils are pretty good. It arrived really fast and I immediately tore into it and tried a piece. A good bit of them was broken which made me doubt it a little but when I tried it, it had a nice earthy taste. I'm letting it air out to see if it gets even better. So I let it air out for 5 days and it's pretty good but it doesn't all taste the same and they are cut unevenly. Ok so some are earthy, some are a little hard, all are crunchy, and some are chalky. I may or may not get this again, still deciding whether or not I really really like it.

Lower Quality
2nd purchase was of lower quality. It was mostly red clay pieces, some yellow clay and a dark almost black clay. What really turned me off was the smell of the yellow when it was wet and the black specks on most of them that looked like mold spores; this was not on the last batch. This batch was extremely hard and airing it out did not help as much as it did in the past.I prefer the white bentonite clay that they had before and will not be buying from this vendor again as the quality is not consistent....this one seemed to be a layer of everything they had leftover with dust used to coat it so purchasers could not see that it was a not white clay.
