Fit perfectly & work as advertised
These fit my 2023 Mini Clubman perfectly & they definitely keep out the sun during the height of the summer hot days. Putting them away is easy as well & once sowed they fit into the back pockets of the front seats with ease. They look like they are factory issued as well.

Sunroof Shade to block the heat
The size was prefect for my wife's new Mini Cooper sunroof shade. It was tight fit. She left it on for the longest time, and it just perfectly still in place. It definitely help to reduce the amount of heat in the hot sun. The quality of the product is well made. The thickness showed it will last longer.

Good... If you don't remove it often
I bought this product in August 2019 for my 2014 Clubman. I have it a 4-star rating for to the fact that it fits better with the screen retracted in it's housing. Everything else works as advertised. The Bads... The shades I got do not have the MINI logo. I wish the vendor would remove those photos. Second, each shade does not fit well with the screen open (i.e., when screen covering the sunroof). It fits better with the screen retracted into its housing. Third, because for the shade to fully extend, I had to put it between the sunroof glass and the greasy tracks, it gets a little dirty around the edges. The Goods... The screens block the sun and keep the car a little cooler, especially when the sun is directly overhead. Second, having them in place over time, the wringles became less visible (see attached pictures). You can probably remove them completely by ironing, if they really bother you. 😁 Overall, I'm pretty happy with them. They protect my balding head from burning up! I've had these shades for a few months now. The way I plan to use them is to leave them in place during late spring to late fall when it's hot in Southern California. I would imagine that the edges would wear out quickly if you plan to put them up and down all the time. If that's you, be warned.

Best sunroof shades for your MINI Cooper
Product info: comes inside a plastic bag containing two shades folded each inside its own pouch. One side is silver and reflective and the other side is black with a mini logo. Fit is perfect. Used on a 2009 Mini Cooper S Update ***Logo does not come printed anymore. Found out that it was a limited batch*** I am officially in the mini cooper club. I purchased a 2009 Mini Cooper S a few months ago during winter. I love the double sunroof as it lets a lot of light in. There is no issue with heat inside the car during the cold months. However - living in Miami, FL. the heat can be a little unbearable. I like a little sun but not as much as I was getting in my Mini. If you're reading this, you know that the mesh that blocks light in a mini cooper sunroof is all but useless. It does nothing to reduce heat inside the car, the sun still beams inside your car, sure it's a little less but it's still coming through. Personally I cannot stand it - i hate it. It's too damn hot, why couldn't BMW design it so it covers the sun completely? Anyway, I looked thoroughly for a sunroof shade before I decided to purchase these. There is another vendor on Amazon that sells the ones with suction cups, which to me are a little aesthetically unpleasing to the eye and they are also more expensive. I wanted something that looked cool while at the same time blocked the sun completely - these shades are it. They fit perfectly in the gap between the shade mesh inside your mini and the roof - just perfect - like a glove. You cannot open the sunroof for wind without these (or any other sunroof shade for that matter) without making a rattling sound, like cloth in the wind. This to me is not important, however. I didn't want these so I could open the sunroof and have shade, I purchased them strictly to block out the sun when the sunroof was closed. I keep it closed all the time and will most likely do so unless it's cool at night or it's winter, in which case I will remove the shades. With that said, these are awesome. I highly recommend them. As a matter of fact this is my second set because I own two MINIs. Get them, they are the solution to your overheating needs inside. your mini. I'm definitely happy with my purchase and would buy again if the ones I have ever wear out.

Life saver in the heat!
I'm not sure what was behind the design of the built-in moonroof sunshades in modern Mini's but they're terrible when it's hot out. These serve their purpose perfectly. I have a 2021 F56 Cooper S with the "pano" (dual) moonroofs and these fit pretty close to perfect. They are a little more rounded on the corners then the actual moonroofs but it's still enough material to completely block out the sun and they don't fall out once installed. There is a noticeable improvement in interior temperature (by feel, I haven't measured it) after a long day of the car sitting in the sun. Also the hvac cools inside much quicker with them installed. You won't realize how nice it is to have these until you have some. They aren't as pretty as the amazon ad makes them out to be but I dont care because they work like a champ! They are a little cumbersome to get in and out but I don't plan on taking them out until the fall.

Nice but too small
Both sections are the same size. One fits perfectly over the front but the neither fits the rear.

Suction Power irrelevant, great product!
The fit on my 2009 Cooper S hatchback is so perfect that it actually took a day of driving to allow the twist-folded shape memory metal frame of the shade to reach every seam where light might penetrate the sunroof. Installation is easy, especially for the forward window of the double sunroof. They don't use suction to stay in place, but they stay right where they ought to be. I haven't tried driving on the highway with the windows completely down, but surface streets with the windows half-down, between 20 and 45 mph, generates no rattling or buffeting from the installed shades. Best of all, they remove and re-fold with a twist, fit back into their stowable sleeves (tip: put a split ring/key-ring hoop through the hanging tabs on the sleeves to keep them together) and slide into the seat back pockets. Total satisfaction.
