Excellent. Little, if any display lag, and perfect 2160p 4:4:4 chroma 60Hz output from my laptop. The adapter is hot to the touch during and immediately after use, but not excessively so.

Worked as expected. Just used it on a cruise ship tv as well as in a hotel for my iphone and iPad to share the screen. Great buy so far.

Works with Mac Air 15 2025 With other cables, could not get HDMI to USB-C (Mac Air) working well. But, this one did the trick and does it fast. Instant recognition by the Samsung S90D TV

Very Happy - Was able to connect my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (Android 16) - directly to the back of my Sony Bravia TV (XR-55A95K). While it worked for the Video portion - the audio somehow remained on my phones speakers. I didn't tinker around Phone/TV settings to see if I could fix the audio problem - so I just connected my phones Bluetooth to my Soundbar. Now able to play a particular program/event from a popular streaming service (N..x) (Phone needed to be connected to a Canadian located VPN - and also using my 4G/5G data service - not Wifi) - I'm now able to play content - which is normally only available - when not located in USA) - Think McMahon content :) ...

Update: About a day after I left my original review I revived a message from the seller Inbought mine from (LSYDirect) and they offered me my choice of a refund or replacement. I went with refund due to having already replaced the cable due to needing to use it on the daily. They were very responsive and had a few questions to be able to understand the full situation. I got the feeling that they do really want to ensure they are providing a solid product. The only reason I left this now at 4 stars is that I don’t and won’t (my choice no fault of the seller) have a new cable to test long term and it was an inconvenience to have it die randomly. I will say though I would consider buying again from this seller if I am in need of another cable. I will say though if you have issues message the seller directly on Amazon and don’t rely on the email address in the packaging. That will probably be more reliable. I’m leaving my original one star review below for context. This cable functioned mostly at first but I started to notice that my monitor would disconnect randomly and I had to unplug and plug back in to get it back. Then it stopped working completely after 7 months use. I tried it on other devices and different monitors and still nothing. Packaging claims lifetime warranty so I emailed the designated support email and have waited two weeks and have received no response. If I receive a response in the future then I’ll update my review.

This means that the reviews are based more on initial impressions than actual experience with the product. That said, here's the story: I was experimenting with hooking up my Vizio t.v. to my Macbook Pro because I was having problems with Internet streaming on the Vizio, even though the streaming had worked fine for a few years. I had previously bought an HDMI/C Connector cord from a local big-box home improvement store. When I hooked up the cable to t.v. and computer, it worked, but it took about 30 seconds of weird, digitized "noise" before the picture locked in, Because I had not done an HDMI/C Connector hook-up before, I figured that was a normal step for the t.v. and computer to sync up together. The audio from the computer did not play through the t.v.'s internal or external speakers, so I figured audio wasn't routed through the HDMI/C connector cable. It wasn't too long before this first cable failed, though. It took me a little while to figure out it was the cable that was the problem. I finally determined that the t.v. seemed to be working okay and the computer seemed to be fine, too. That left the cable as the suspect. I went to Amazon because of the convenience of shopping from home and the wide selection of products to choose from. Even a big-box store will probably not have a wide selection of reletively specialized products like an HDMI/C connector cable. Also, the user reviews are a big help in sorting through the many products Amazon offers. I looked at a number of of HDMI/C connector offerings and this 10' HDMI/USB cable was reasonably priced and well reviewed. The cable was promptly delivered. It appears to be robust with a thick, wiry feel. Almost too robust. I hooked it up to Vizio T.V. and to MacBook laptop and was amazed to see that the picture locked up almost immediately, without the digital noise that the original cord I had tried presented. I guess that the noise was the first indicator that the initial cord had problems. So, right out of the box, the new cord seemed to be better. Audio was still not delivered to the t.v.'s internal or external speakers. I don't know if there is some setting I have to adjust for audio, of if it is simply not delivered to the t.v. via the HDMI/USB cable. So, I give this a 5/5 based on the little experience I have with it. Like I said, the construction appears to be very robust. The wiriness of the cable makes it a little hard to straighten and route from t.v. to computer, but I'm not going to ding it a star for that, particularly if it lasts a long time. I do regret getting the 10' length. It's a little shorter than I need. I should have bought the 15' cord, but that's on me...
