I bought this yesterday to replace a transformer that had disintergrated. The old one had been damaged years ago apparently and had been taped up. After having a window replaced above the transformer recently I went to check the plug. There was the transformer hanging by the tape. I had turned on the watering system after a week of high temp, dry weather and it wasnt working. Today I installed this transformer and bingo it worked first try. I like the three point plug as its more stable and grounded. Im a 76 yr old wife of a slighly incapacitated husband and so Girls can do anything!

Needed to extra current - working well!

This unit works perfectly after my old transformer died. Voltage outputs are the same as my original.

28.3 VAC measured but rated at 24V.This would be a +/- 16%Function, but you get what you pay for and it works.

These are used for low voltage post lamp power. Have found them to be an excellent replacement part at a very reasonable cost.

I bought this to replace a failed power supply for an AC ultraviolet light. The power supply seems well built, and on the heavy side suggesting that it can easily output 2 amps. The no-load voltage measured 26.5 volts. I didn't bother load testing it, as my UV light only draws 1 amp. I like the power on indicator lamp, a nice touch to a well designed, well built product.

Works great so far to restore power to my outdoor 3 bulb lamp post. Transformer is located in the basement, not outside. It has the green light to indicate a working product. I'm averaging around 8yrs of life on my old ones -- you know these are ready to quit operating when they start developing a darker 'heat ring' on the white cover. Also, was able to add a ground wire with this transformer. My old ones were just 2 terminals.

The original transformer terminal physical broke so not power to the water conditioner for re-cycling. This transformer has a slightly higher power rating and a mounting screw to hold in place as well as a led power indicator. The Water conditioner wanted about $200 dollars to come out and replace this part or charge me $61 dollars if I just ordered the part through them. I got this one for $19 and it works better than the original.

I bought this based on another person's (Dave B) review, and it did not disappoint. This works perfectly with the eufy Security Wireless Video Doorbell with 2K HD (Wired Version) without any issues, and it's easy to install if you're not comfortable when working with electricity. Most doorbells will be connected to a 16V transformer, which is insufficient for many doorbell cameras with wifi. You'll need a 24V transformer like this one.This is what I had to do to install this with my eufy doorbell.1) Plugin the 24V wall transformer into the outlet where the 16V transformer is installed. The green light on the 24V wall transformer should turn on. (I had to remove the screw terminal)2) Flip off the switch in the breaker panel to the outlet where the 16V transformer is connected and the 24V wall transformer is plugged into. (IMPORTANT!!!)3) The green light on the 24V wall transformer should be off now if the correct switch was turned off.4) Remove the red and black AC wires from the 16V terminals, and connect them to the AC terminals on the 24V wall transformer and make sure the wires are firmly screwed down. Nothing needs to be connected to the ground terminal.5) Flip on the switch to that outlet in the breaker panel. The green light on the 24V wall transformer should turn on.6) Test the existing doorbell to make sure everything is connected properly. My old doorbell still worked with the 24V wall transformer.7) Flip that switch off again in the breaker panel.8) Now follow the instructions on how to install the doorbell camera.After I completed those steps, I followed the instructions that came with the eufy doorbell and installed it successfully.

My transformer was not working well for my Eufy video doorbell, so was thinking i was going to need to get an electrician to wire in a new one (as mine comes off the main electrical panel and i don’t feel comfortable opening that up).instead i ordered this product as i happen to have an electrical outlet near my old transformer. I unhooked the wires from the old transformer, installed the video doorbell and then attached the two doorbell connections to the outer two screws and plugged it in (I had to remove the protruding screw to do this).The new video doorbell is working great so I am happy with this solution.
