High-Quality Fast Secure SSD Drive, You Get What You Paid For
I bought the 2TB version because they were all out of the 1TB version, and this is a fantastic product. It was way smaller than I expected, which is a good thing. It comes in its own small plastic case, as well as an small extension thing if you wish to put it on the back of your phone. It is an extremely secure connection when plugging into anything, its not loose whatsoever. It also comes with a few extra labels. As of functionality, it works extremely well. I was able to record Apple ProRes Log footage directly from my iPhone to the SSD, and there was absolutely no delay. When recording in 4k 25fps, it had around 9 hours of straight recording time. When transferring files from the drive to the computer, it also worked just fine, and with the fast speed they advertised. The design is really nice, with some ridges to grip when you pull it out. Its extremely easy to use, and I recommend watching a tutorial online if you feel unsure. The actual quality of the material is nice, and it comes with a rubber-like material around the whole thing to protect it from damage. Overall you get exactly what you paid for.

Great Drive
LOVE this portable drive. It’s easy to keep in my bag for last minute shooting. Pops straight into my iPhone and I’m shooting 4K ProRes on the fly.Great job Lexar. No issues so far.

Plugs in fine with a Spigen case on but not with Hub
Some of the reviews here need to be more specific. I have a 15 pro max with a basic Spigen case on. It’s not too chunky but still provides a decent level of protection. My phone recognizes the 1tb drive with the U connector.I think the average user won’t be filming more than an hour of pro res log footage but fyi at 4K 60 fps pro res log, the 1tb drive can hold up to 73 min. of footage. For someone more serious I’m sure they’ll be purchasing the 2tb drive for more recording time.If you need to record over an hour of a birthday party or something casual in 4k60 pro res log, get something else but in standard 4k, you’ll have more than enough storage available.I didn’t play around too long with the hub but for some reason when I connect it to my phone with the drive, it does not recognize the drive. Maybe the hub needs to be connected to a power source but just connecting the drive directly to my phone itself worked fine.I was hoping Amazon would stock the black version but that seems to be limited to B&H for some reason.I love the light weight and size of the drive and the hub. This also comes with a cold shoe adapter which I didn’t realize is included. They also include a small plastic case for the drive and space for one of the U connectors. I just attached the other connector to the hub. Everything comes in a small fabric zip pouch with velcro pockets inside.

Hardy, Portable, and High-capacity SSD!
I would recommend this product to anyone in need of extra storage. The 1TB storage capacity is more than ample for my needs, and it's not easy to find such capacity in such a compact design. I'm also impressed with the rugged build - it's clearly designed to withstand a lot. The portable design makes it easy to carry around too. This is the best option currently available for a tiny SSD. It's extremely well-made and portable. Highly recommended.

hub connector not comparable with iPhone
device comes in 3 parts, the hub, the connectors, and the storage. the storage itself support speeds fast enough to record in apple pro res 60fps but once you connect it to the hub and usb the hub connector/adapter, the speeds fall rapidly. i know the connector is the cause of this but finding a connector that supports those speeds and still fits into the hub is impossible. now i just have a SSD that i can’t use accessories with

Minimalist storage for IPhone
Picked this up for my iPhone 16 ProMax recently. What’s a bonus is it is also very useful with my iPad Pro M4 13”. Such a great minimalist setup without the cords hanging everywhere.

If you love losing your data and having this device decide to not connect at all, get it
Obviously the return period ends and the thing is shot. I go on a trip, transfer data, and then at the most critical time, it won't connect to anything. Is my data lost or will it work again? Who knows? I'll never trust Lexar again. RUN!
