Grassworx Capitol 24x36 Taupe Scraper Mat, 24" x 36"

LUKE! It’s A TRAP!!!! My favorite doormat to date! Grassworx/AstroTurf has been around for decades. I have purchased numerous mats throughout the years even some that are in brutal weather conditions year round. Some of the smaller ones by Grassworx are very light. Though they are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST at cleaning shoes, they are good in entrances or inside my garage. Basically where heavy winds or a lawn blower wouldn’t pick them up. The Capital Design looks very regal but it’s outer design is also functional. It also traps debris and is heavy enough to not blow away. It’s so VERY EASY to dump or rinse off with a hose. There’s a few drainage holes under the “Turf” area. Yes these make a notable “scratchy brushing” sound but isn’t that the point of cleaning filth off of your shoes. My dogs do not mind sitting or laying on these. Probably because they were brought up around GrassWorx/AstroTurf mats. As an additional “bonus”, my dogs come running to the door when I clean my shoes without me actually having to yell an acre for them. Seriously. I hope my long rambling is helpful to you and other Amazon folks.

Bought three of these because they were the only ones I could find with a traditional turf-like scrub-off area. That part of the mat works really well. But other than that they've not aged well (one year) at all. As you can see in the pictures, the corners on a couple of the mats have started to come loose, and when I picked one up the other day single-handed to move it to sweep under, it just ripped in my hand. And this mat is in a sheltered doorway out of the sun. Next time I'll find something more sturdy. These initially gave the impression they would be, but are not going to last long at all.

This is my 4th Grassworx doorway mat. I really like them as they are attractive, super heavy so they don't slide/blow around, easy to clean, and are great for scuffing off wet grass, leaves, dirt, and etc. from shoes before entering the house. I have them at all my doors. Couldn't find any in the stores this year toward the end of winter so I was very happy to find them on Amazon.

I've only had this mat a week and shook it out once and it cracked. I'm very easy on everything I own so I wasn't being abusive. The scraping part works great, but the rubber border is very fragile. I'm disappointedI hope the manufacturer reads my review so they correct the problem with their product. It really looks nice. It is just toobad that a door mat would be so fragile.

I purchased a mat similar to this one 7 years ago and just replacing it now. That what I call getting your moneys worth since I left them out year round in the N.E.

All three mats that I purchased started to curl after 3-4 months. Switched locations of all , put weights on the curls..nothing worked..gave to GW.

Excellent product!!!! Best mat I’ve ever seen! I’ve bought very expensive ones from other brands- but this is by far superior. Highly recommend!!!

Mat didn’t even last 6 months on a covered porch before it started deteriorating. Never got wet or was in direct sunlight. Still didn’t last...not recommend...

J'adore ce tapis, aussi beau que extrèmement résistant. Il retient la saleté comme aucun autre tapis et préserve propres les planchers de ma maison. Je possède un grand danois et 2 enfants qui entrent allègrement chez nous donc j'ai acheté ce tapis pour ma porte avant et ma porte patio. Je recommande avec plaisir!Quand il est sale, je secoue ou passe a l'arrosoir et il revient comme neuf. Les longues brosses ne se détache pas ni ne se brisent comparativement à mon ancien tapis de ce genre.

Got two of these mats for outside at our beach house. They do a great job in knocking off the sand.After about 2 months, the grass fibre layer is peeling off.The mats sit in sun most of the day so I'm guessing the hot sun made the glue weak. I would not get these if you plan to have them in the sun.

It failed the basic expectations. The black foam type material around the edge of the mat easily tears and this happened when I took the mat out of the box. Apparently, all the sides are the same poor quality. The mat seems to perform okay as of now. Really a matter of bad quality judgement.

Website says 24" x 36" but it actually measures 22" x 36". That's a loss of 72 square inches and almost 10% of surface area.

Great item. Too thick for a door to open over.

is to early to tell if is good. but today looks very good and I am happy with the product. who knows how is going to be after rainy days.

I highly suggest.

Works great, cleans with a hose and catches all the dirt prior to coming into the house.

Put this mat outside my front door and it looks amazing! Love it!

Great quality. Exactly as described.

The little plastic spikes does a great job cleaning your shoes. Also the heavy rubber base keeps the mat flat and from blowing away. My previous 10 year old grassworx mat didn't have the rubber base so it split in half when I tried to clean it.

Does exactly As dest. Far less dirt tracked. Going to get a bigger one for the entrance to the house from the garage. Winter salt and sand don’t stand a chance

Very high functionality! Cleans shoes well and does what it is supposed to do.
